"The Anchorage motel was great for us. It’s a very basic accommodation- but, very walkable with a lot of good restaurants around. The staff were friendly and it was clean."
"This is really a wonderful facility, and the staff/owner was very professional, gracious, and pleasant. The room was quite nice. The problem we had is that it is a little bit too far to walk to downtown, which is kind of important because the parking and downtown Bar Harbor is absolutely horrendous."
"Otter Creek Cottage worked very well for our group of six adults (two couples and two singles), it would also work great for someone with kids (the attic has so much room)! The property manager, Tim, was very responsive. Location is convenient to both Bar Harbor and Acadia, and an easy trip to Roosevelt-Campobello, and so many other things. Kitchen is very well stocked (loved the storage options)! The area is quiet, we enjoyed the back yard (plenty of seating), easy walk to a small market. Wi-Fi access was good. It was a wonderful stay! "The house was in a great location for getting around to everything we wanted to see and do in Acadia. It was very clean and neat and had lots of basics needed for a stay. The owners were very responsive in communicating and answering any questions. I would stay here again and recommend it to others. "

"This was the perfect location, away from the hustle bustle of Bar Harbor, but close enough to all parts of MDI to easily get around. There was also great access to Acadia National Park and the Park Loop Road and the Carriage Roads. The p[lace was perfect. We would stay here again. "
