Tifton, GA - Shalom Guest House - Cabin in Peaceful Setting

This 800+ square foot cabin is located in rural south Georgia away from the hustle and bustle of city life. Fully furnished, all you need is to get here. WIFI and smart TV, EVCS, fire pit, gas grill, pool table, and catch and release fishing are awaiting your arrival. Sit on the swing under the elm trees and enjoy watching the barn yard animals. It's an easy drive to town, I-75, US 82, and restaurants and small town shopping. Golfing and historic museum close by. An easy drive to Moultrie for events at Spence Field, or Adel for the motor speedway events.
For pet owners, please communicate with us first before assuming your pet is a good fit for us. We generally only take small to mid-size dogs. Big dogs and their toenails are pretty hard on our floor!

Please note that your pet is not automatically accepted. We will ask a few questions first to see if your pet is suitable for our place. Then if accepted there is a pet fee of $25 per pet. Please contact us first if you have a pet you wish to get accepted.

Check in is after 3 PM, Monday-Saturday. SUNDAY check in is after 4 PM. Check out time is 11 AM.

Our yard is a little controlled, a little wild, and a little magical. That's why the elves came!

Cabin on the Pond

My partner and I stayed here for a night on our way back from a trip in Florida to go back home. This place was a perfect spot to stop at. It was quiet and calm and very beautiful spot to stop and relax after a bunch of crazy driving. Highly recommend and would love to stay again.

Comfortable and cozy country cabin in lakeside setting

The cabin is clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the peace and quiet. The occasional quack from a duck or two was a reminder that the lake was right outside our door. We enjoyed waking to lakeside views and watching the egret and heron stalking fish along the far banks.

Wonderful!

Wonderful property, secluded in the middle of nowhere which was great for us, the farm animals and wildlife were great. We came through for the night on our way to Florida. Would definitely stay here again. Owners were very responsive!

Wonderful place to rest, lovely scenery. Fun to be around the animals & pond. Hostess was friendly & helpful. The homemade jelly was exceptional! Wish we could find some back home. We would stay again on our travels.

We stay here every trip. Couldn't ask for anything better ! And the kids caught a ton of fish too. Very clean house that is beautifully decorated. Has everything you could possibly need. The host is also very responsive to messages. Highly recommended!

Great place to stay !

As always the house was very clean, well stocked and suited our needs perfect. We always try to stop here on our trips to Florida. The host is very responsive and helpful. Be sure to take your fishing poles . The fishing is great and the animals enjoy visitors as well. Highly recommended.

Perfect for a family! Kitchen was well stocked and great size! Plenty of sleeping space for a family, plus the pool table was fun! The property is beautiful and peaceful. We absolutely loved the pond. The highlight is definitely the goats! Would highly recommend this property. Wish we had more time to stay!

Beautiful Setting

The setting is in a rural area with ponds adjacent. The stars at night where amazing. It is very quiet and we were there on New Year's Eve. Bring a flashlight if you need to walk your dog after dark.We only stayed one night and everything we needed was available, property was very clean, and the information book was very helpful.We would stay again.

Peaceful, country setting

Enjoyed fishing and playing multiple games of pool. The pond is just outside the door where you can sit on the porch and have fun catching fish. You can hear and see ducks, and other wildlife. This is an amazing place. It reminds me of when we grew up on a farm.Hosts were very caring and friendly. We plan to return when our schedule permits.

Cute country getaway that's still close to everything.

Our family of four enjoyed our stay in the Shalom House cabin. Everything we needed was there. Our kids enjoyed the pool table, bedroom loft, and walking across the pond to see the goats. The cabin is a cute country getaway but is only a 15-20 minute drive away from restaurants, downtown Tifton, and anything else you would want/need. We will be back on our next trip from Ohio to Florida.

Nice and relaxing

We stayed here as a stopping point on our travels. This was the perfect place to stop and recharge. The farm animals was the highlight. We enjoyed feeding the goats and the relaxing atmosphere. The cats were also a joy as we are cat owners ourselves. This will definitely be a constant stopping point for us in our future travels. Highly Recommend.

Serene and Peaceful Retreat

One of the most amazing experiences we've ever had staying somewhere. This location was perfect for our regular road trips from Cental Florida to Atlanta and it's sooooo much better than just stopping at some random hotel off the highway. They let our kids pick blackberries with them and showed us the goats and baby chickens. My kids loved it and so did I. We will definitely be stopping by again in the future and thank you for the amazing hospitality!

Perfect Quiet Getaway

This property was perfect for my husband and I as we were looking for a quiet and quaint stay to get away from everything. We loved listening to the goats and chickens while we prepared dinner. The bed was comfortable and they also provided cable and wifi if needed. Spent the weekend cuddled up with a book and this cabin could not have provided a more perfect scenery. We will be back!
