We chose Cade’s Place as our home base for kayaking and hiking in the Georgia mountains. We travel with our dog, so it was great to find such a nice place. The cabin is just a short drive to beautiful state parks (Tallulah Gorge and Black Rock Mountain) and the Georgia side of the serene Tugalo Lake. Also, several cute mountain towns to explore nearby.
Cade’s Place is absolutely delightful. Candice has thought of everything. The decor is charming and cozy. We loved the outdoor living space and probably spent most of our time there. Such a great place for coffee in the morning and wine in the evening! Also, we loved the (very private) outdoor shower. Such a fun touch!
Inside, the kitchen had everything we needed. We had dinner there our second night, and found everything we needed to grill steaks outside and roast veggies in the oven. There was also a toaster in the upper cabinets for bagels in the morning. (It’s just a short drive to Ingles or Walmart if you need groceries).
Other things we loved: Candice’s guidebook explaining everything about the cabin, where to find things, how to work the ac, etc.
All the extra touches: robes, device chargers in several locations around the cabin, body wash, shampoo, and conditioner in both showers, body lotion in the indoor bathroom, dedicated locations for remotes (I’ve stayed places where you’ve had to search for them), and the separate backyard space for dogs.
The property and neighborhood: peaceful and private
