(This is an apartment built below a larger home, so keep in mind you will hear traffic upstairs when guests are there). From the moment you walk through the front door of the brand-new mezzanine floor of this breathtaking home, you will be wowed by the impressive workmanship and ocean views. With its separate entrance and parking, you will feel the privacy and relaxation that is so inviting about coming to the Oregon Coast.

Curl up with a captivating novel in the warm and inviting living room or enjoy a movie on the large smart TV with a fire crackling in the gas-burning fireplace. Relax each night in the amazingly comfortable king size bed.

The beach in Oceanside offers a dramatic playground for exploring tide pools full of sea life, surfing, boogie boarding, searching for seashell treasures, building sandcastles and don’t forget about the 3 Arch Rocks that provide a stunning background for the sunsets each evening. The stream that empties into the ocean nearby provides a sheltered setting for little ones to play in the sand and water.
Modern Vista will not disappointment and will be your new go- to place for years to come. We can’t wait to host you!

**Note: This is the lower level floor of a larger home, but it does have it's own separate entrance and separate parking area completely.
** Note: Your nightly rate includes damage insurance should anything accidentally break or get ruined during your stay.
** Note: I send out a rental acknowledgment to sign electronically after a booking is made. It is very straightforward and simple, but if you would like a copy of the contract beforehand, just let me know! :-)

We’ve been staying in Oceanside for 15 years and this was the first time we were in a modern, brand new space. It was so nice! Clean, spacious, quiet. The place was lovely and the bed so comfy. Beautiful sheets. Everything we needed to cook a meal. First time ever the door lock was set to my phone number - super appreciative. I’ve had long crazy numbers, a wrong number once. It was all just fabulous.

We enjoyed our stay very much. It's a great place for a couple. It was very clean. The kitchen is small but mighty. The appliances and kitchenware were of high quality, significantly better than those in most places we've stayed. The beach and cafes are a short walk away. The local contact person, Sarah was responsive. Great experience all around. We would definitely stay here again.

Great Stay

Fantastic experience with this property. It has a lovely view of the ocean and the unit was clean, well-decorated, and well-stocked. It was easy to hike up the hill or down to the beach from the property and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Lovely spot

It seems newly renovated/built -- if it's not, they take amazing care with it. It's basically one large room with adjoining kitchen and bathroom, segmented into bedroom, den, and dining areas. A great base of operations for Oceanside since everything is in walking distance. Very comfy. Only quibbles: - the smart lock on the front door worked perfectly but always required two activations. No idea why. - the induction cooktop would often not recognize my finger press, so heating the kettle sometimes took 2 or 3 or 20 attempts to get the element going. - there's a cool BlueTooth enabled Yamaha receiver (and giant TV with surround sound), but I could never get my phone to pair with the receiver. Likely user error on my part. - a fan to generate a breeze would be a welcome addition

Great location, can walk to the beach in about 10-15 minutes (it’s quite a hill to get back up to the property on the return). The Blue Agate cafe has great food especially breakfast time and the walk is the same as going to the beach. The only negative remarks is really towards who they use for housekeeper, the cleanliness could have had more attention especially with the kitchen items. The espresso machine pieces used to make the espresso was filthy with left over remnants from previous uses, cooking pans and drinking glasses with food stuck to them. Overall was a good stay just wished I didn’t have to wash things before I needed to use them

Great space

The place is spacious and new. Very comfortable. Loved the fireplace and huge windows. So nice to walk on the nearby beach. Close to Tillamook for more dining options. We had a great stay. The house manager is super responsive.

I am kind of a brat, and I could not love this studio apartment, and Sarah the property manager, any more than I already do. I am STILL giddy with happy about my time there. Highly recommend. Don’t take my time slots. Yes you will hear kid footsteps. Sarah was fantastic. 💞

Great Apartment

The apartment was great, meticulously clean, wonderful bed, linens, pillows, fully stocked kitchen appliances. Views out the window were beautiful, little town it is located in is quaint, but restaurants were not open until Thurs or Fri through the weekend. We had to drive into Tillamook a lot for meals. The tunnel down on the local beach was a treat! When I read the posting, it did mention that if the home above the apartment was rented you could hear those renters walking around. So we expected that. However, what we did not expect was multifamily renters, with 6 kids under the age of 12 or so running around jumping at all hours. They would throw stuff over the balcony onto our car, run up and down the stairs continuously, past the quiet time of 10pm, sometimes until midnight. The sound machine provided helped, but not always. Since there is no cell service, we could not contact the property manager, tried sending texts but they would not go through. The only way you can communicate is via facebook messenger. So we were on our own. Other than that, it was a good experience.

Updated, modern!

Loved this place, it was so cute/modern and was a great spot for my wife and me. We commented that it could have held another few people very comfortably. We did hear quite a bit of foot steps as this is below another unit but that was the only 'issue' to speak of (which wasn't a real issue to us). You can see some of the coast line (there is another house between you and the beach) which is a fun way to wake up in the morning! Sarah was great to work with, 6 stars! I'd happily stay here again!
