Cozy Cabin with beautiful Bay View

The 'Retro Retreat' is a 1 bedroom, 500 square foot lower level apartment with a beautiful view of Netarts Bay. There is a queen size bed in the bedroom and there is a comfy futon out in the living room. There is Wifi and cable TV, so you can stay connected while on vacation. The living room/dining area has a flat screen Smart TV that has streaming capabilities. There is plenty of room to park your truck and boat and also a convenient outdoor fish cleaning station. The fire pit in the yard is a great gathering spot and has a gorgeous view of the Bay! Also, the upstairs unit is available to rent as well! There are 2 separate entrances and would be perfect for 2 couples traveling together or a family with older kids that want to have their own space. Ask for details!


** Note: Up to 2 dogs are welcome to come! There is a $30 pet fee for the additional cleaning required after your departure.
** Note: Your nightly rate includes damage insurance should anything accidentally break or get ruined during your stay.
** Note: I send out a rental acknowledgment to sign electronically after a booking is made. It is very straightforward and simple, but if you would like a copy of the contract beforehand, just let me know! :-)

Place was clean and well equipped. Past review said you need to be under 5’10” due to low ceiling, I’m just shy of 6’, the ceiling although low was still 7 feet. Only issue was the Thursday storm which brought in a substantial amount of water through the front door

The place is cute, well equipped and has a beautiful view of the bay. Things you’ll want to know: I don’t advise anyone taller than 5’10” to stay here. The ceilings are very low and the shower is very petite. If you are planning a romantic time, just know that the bed is VERY creeky and loud. Also, there was no key in the lock box only a key pad on the door, which we couldn’t figure out how to lock again when we were coming and going. So it’s cute, it’s quaint and very peaceful overall.

This place was everything i was hoping for. Was very comfortable and our view was great. Perfect location away from town but close enough to explore the surrounding beautiful area of Cape Meares and local creameries. Definitely a place we'd come back to.

Netarts Stay

Loved the unit. So cute and well equipped. The front deck was so nice for taking in the beautiful view. The fold out sofa was lumpy so I didn’t try to use it as a bed, (snoring). The bed was very comfortable. We had a great stay!

Unexpected Adventures in Clamming

We had originally come to the coast for hiking and whale watching but due to the cloudiness, we had to get creative. My husband, our puppy, and myself instead opted for clamming, renting tools from the Netarts Garden RV Park. Though mucky and chilly (and our lack of proper attire) we met so many kind and helpful locals, and we were able to harvest a few clams, cockles, and gapers. Though cleaning them was a quite intricate process, they all went very well in a beurre blanc sauce. The accommodations were very cozy and the view from the deck was beautiful.

Cute and cozy

Great chill spot. Met the cool neighbor Bill working on his house out back. Good communication with host. Great view from windows. Pretty darn close to the beach over in happy camp. My one disclaimer would be if your a light sleeper or are annoyed with noise from upstairs tenants than make note that it’s pretty loud at times. Probably just due to the construction but it worked out fine. It’s just loud at times.

Small but met our needs. Owner needs to supply a blanket. Had plenty of sheets and towels but no blankets. Other than that kitchen was well stocked. Nice to have a washer and dryer.

Therapy week

I stayed in the lower apt. with Boone, Ruby and Porter. Retro Retreat is very cozy and comfortable. The Kitchen is well stocked. The view is beautiful. The only negative is you can hear the people in the above unit moving around. This was not a big deal as they were pretty quiet. I was more concerned about my dogs disturbing them. I will definitely stay here again.

Nice cozy stay, no easy beach access

We had a nice time staying here- very cozy getaway for my husband and I. Tv was great and heaters worked well. VERY hot water! A couple things to be aware of that I didn’t realize from the listing- the close water access from the house is to a boat dock on the bay. Great if you want to go crabbing! But to get to the regular beach is a 10-15 minute walk, and you need to go back to the highway then turn down another road. We were also asked a sign a third party waiver which was fine, but I always prefer to know about that before booking a listing.
