Vacay for Daughter & Sons Graduation

What an amazing place! We enjoyed it so much with our 3 teens. Plenty of space, beautiful experience in the nature. River was the highlight of our trip we definitely enjoyed our family quality time with board games, movie nights and bbq dinners! Yes this place is cozy, adventurous and allows you to create great memories!

This is a most amazing place. Up in the Tillamook State Forest on the Wilson River. State of the art rental has everything you’ll need and more. Including remote control candles. We hope to go back next year.

Sweet house on the river!

The house can be tricky to access when exiting off Highway 6. The house does live up to its title. It is beautifully located on the Wilson River. It has an amazing swimming hole at the bottom of the steps and trail provided. It offers plenty of outdoor living space as well. I would definitely recommend this place for family gatherings. A great place to take kids and enjoy the river life.

Very nice

This was one of the nicest places we have stayed. The house was very clean, appliances and furniture are newer and in great condition. The property is great and we loved the access to the river. The location is private and a short drive from Tillamook or trailheads for hiking.

Everyone’s favourite place to stay on the road trip

When we got to the property we were amazed, it is much nicer than we had pictured. Then we went inside, which was very impressive and clean. There was plenty of room and it dealt so cozy. We would definitely stay again. An added bonus was the close proximity to town and to the coast. So nice!

Beautiful river house

The house was very clean and the river access was not bad. My only complaints are the wifi was not working well which would’ve been fine but there is no cell service at all, and the driveway is kinda horrifying to turn into (could use more markers). Everything else about this house was absolutely lovely. It is very roomy inside and view over the river is gorgeous. The kitchen was also surprisingly well stocked for cooking and baking. I would absolutely recommend this place for quiet getaways or fishing trips.

Wonderful beautiful home

I loved the home, only problem was that the owners were watching us on the cameras around the property. There was also a stain on the bed that we discovered when we took off the mattress cover and looked underneath (which we always do now after a previous encounter in a Vacasa home) after leaving the home they attempted to blame the stain on us even though when we found it there was no soiling on the mattress cover meaning that it had been previously covered up by the mattress cover and they knew about it and tried to blame it on us.

Nice but not what I expected

While this house is cozy and warm we did run into a few issues. First, this house is directly off of Hwy 6 which is a major 2 lane highway. After a couple of days the sounds of semi's became white noise but I would have preferred peace and quiet. The view from the family room and kitchen of the river and hill side is beautiful and serene. The porches were incredibly slippery with ice and it was icy most of our trip. Overall we had a nice time and dealt with the few issues that the home presented. It was close to Tillamook and the Ocean while being far enough out of town.

Family Fun on the Wilson

River Song was the perfect house for our family to relax on the Wilson River. The house was comfortably furnished with all the conveniences of "home". We loved the grass in the front yard, a perfect play area for my 1 yr. old great niece. My 4 yr old great nephew loved the sandy beach and the river (once he got wet). We spent mornings in the Tillamook Forest and afternoons on the river. The perfect spot to cool down and enjoy the sun. We drove 2100 miles to relive memories of my husband, his parents, Tillamook, and Netarts. A Tillamook vacation was just what my son, daughter and I needed. We spent an evening at Cape Lookout with a huge bonfire and s'mores! And best of all...our favorite hang out spot the Tillamook Creamery! "Thank you" VaCasa and the family who thoughtfully prepared and provided the perfect getaway. A quiet spot in the Forest on the Wilson River just 15 minutes from Tillamook town center.

Magical Riversong House

Amazingly beautiful property in the Tillamook Forest. Our stay was the best stay and vacation we ever had! The house out pass our expectations of what we was expecting from it. Starting from the very beautiful and well care yard. The spacious parking space. The outdoor porch patios, with grill and great outdoor furniture to enjoy my coffee mornings! We literally don't want to leave! It's our dream house!. And is equipped with everything you need and more! The bed's are very comfortable. The master bathroom has a huge tub where I take very relaxing baths. The simple and perfect decoration of the house make it feel so homie!. My favorite part of the house was the kitchen and the fact that you can see the beautiful view scenery of the river and forest from the inside of the house. Without going outside! You can hear the river sound and sounds beautiful. We also feel safe knowing that there's cameras in the outside of the house. And they are others near by houses but with plenty of distance space for our privacy. There's no words to describe how magical and beautiful is out there. Four things that I recommend. First, If you can't see well at night, be careful on the entrance. Even the entrance is very well marked, is a little bit down challenging to get in, specially at night. Second, the river stairs are good, but watch your steps and there's not disabled access. Third, there's constantly road noise. But in our case was white noise for us. And fourth explore Oregon is Magical!

2nd stay just as great

The house is large and very well stocked. The river access, while not great for low mobility people, is awesome. The beds are softer than we like but not enough to impact my back. The river and shared spaces are the highlight of this rental. Wifi wasn't strong enough for my work video calls, but general web browsing or wifi calls are fine.

Very Relaxing

The home is beautiful and relaxing. I would love to live there. Short drive to Tillamook but isolated enough where you can get plenty of peace and quiet. Very little noise from the traffic and when you're on the deck, it is drowned out by the relaxing sounds of the river.

Great place

We had a very comfortable stay here. We did a lot around the area, but when we came back from all the running, we relaxed here and it was just perfect. One of the best days of the vacation was the day we did nothing but float at the river on the property!

Beautiful relaxing stay

Lovely large home with plenty of space for our family of 5. The river is gorgeous and the access is super close but is not suitable for anyone with mobility challenges, my husband with a disability was not able to navigate the access but my kids and I did!
