Lovely spot in Rjukan

The location of the hotel is right next to the river, a lovely spot to relax. It's not far by car to the Krossbanen (closed for 2024), the Gaustabanen, and the Norwegian Industrial Workers Museum. Staff are friendly and helpful. There are not too many dinner options nearby, but there are some, although youll likely need a car. Breakfast was average.

This is a basic B&B but serves a purpose for visiting Rjukan. I only stayed one night and found the room to be very outdated in style. Good for one night but not much more. Breakfast was not particularly good no pastries or decent coffee.

Ville ha stort rum pga åkte med mc och massa packning. Rymligt och praktiskt vilket gjorde det bekvämt. Frukosten håller dog mätt men hade inte varit fel med lite mer kärlek till den utan att den behöver vara mer exklusiv.

Gjør de viktigste tingene bra. Behagelig seng, varm dusj, romslig, og hyggelig personale. Rommet bar litt preg av alder og noe slitasje, men til prisen var det bedre enn forventet.

Slitent, enkelt rom. Kun håndsåpe på badet. Ok dusjkabinett med foldbar glassvegg. Dessverre var det glipe mellom nedkant dusjvegg og kanten på "kabinettbunnen", slik at det ble temmelig vått på gulvet. Pluss for atskilt toalett og bad! Greie senger. God frokost med mulighet for å sitte ute på en veranda.

Veldig hyggelig resepsjonist, men med noe språkutfordringer. Sengen var ren og komfortabel, men rommet var skittent og slitt. Det var støvete, masse hår fra tidligere leietaker og badet var skittent. Det ser helt horribelt ut bak dusjen. Bygget er også gammelt og varmtvannet varer kanskje i 5 minutter før dusjen blir kald. Frokosten er veldig enkel. Noe brødmat og pålegg, samt melk, kaffe og te. Det er ingen form for egg, bacon eller annet som er vanlig på hotellfrokost. Gitt at Rjukan Hotell koster 200kr mer per natt og er fem minutters gange fra dette stedet burde dette stedet i alle fall lage en litt bedre frokost eller fokusere på renhold i hele rommet. Jeg benyttet rommet for å sove der en natt, men hadde jeg skulle bli flere netter hadde jeg nok prøvd å bytte hotell da dette ikke stod til forventningene.
