Doug was such a kind host! His place was so relaxing, with an amazing view. He really does have every need covered for your stay. We want to come back in the warmer months to enjoy the water. We all loved our stay here!

Doug's cabin was nice, very clean. The property is like a slice of paradise! We loved our stay and will go back for sure. The communication with Doug was great, very accommodating and we appreciated that. We had a wonderful relaxing time!

Thank you Doug! Our family loved your cabin!! Everyone fit perfectly, and our son LOVED the fishing ! You do have pitch, sun fish and we even found a crawfish. He caught over 5 fish, but only kept 2. They weren’t large enough to take from the creek. He didn’t have much luck in the ponds, but he sure gave it a try to the one closet to the cabin. Our small family hope to spend many more future adventures in the future 🤍

Perfect Hidaway

It was a great place to enjoy family and relax. The Wi-Fi didn't work but it was better without it because we got to enjoy each other more. The view was amazing and the kiddos enjoyed swimming in the creek.

Very peaceful!!! The pictures did not lie! Easy check-in. I was there by myself quite a bit of the time while the kids were checking into college and I felt totally safe. The sound of the water was awesome. Check out Snapper Shack just ten minutes away in Tishomingo if you like seafood! Would love to visit in the Fall.

Incredible views

Sit in the swing, look at the view, listen to the water and the worries of the world will slip away. The cabin is homey and comfortable with loads of beds. There is a lot of property to explore. The owner is very responsive and helpful. Don't hesitate..book it!

Small slice of Heaven

Doug’s Camp was something you would imagine straight out of a book. It is the definition of what you look for in a picture perfect getaway. The host was very polite, attentive, and makes everyone feel at home. We appreciated every minute and look forward to going back!!

ok Doug…time for new pics! your property is gorgeous! Even though house doesn’t look like much from outside, it’s very cabin like and cozy and has everything a renter needs! But that rock area…..wow wow wow…new pics to show how wonderful

PHENOMENAL!!!!

The only complaint we had is that we couldn't stay longer! We were ages 9 to 60 and everyone had a fantastic time and hated to leave! The property manager is wonderful and so very accommodating. If we could give more stars, we would!!

Pictures don't do justice!

The driveway to arrive at Camp Doug was beautiful in itself, but after you park and walk around the side of the cabin, the view is just breathtaking. We climbed all over the rocks and even dipped into the running creek to cool off. I enjoyed coffee creekside on the swing and spent the mornings and afternoon birdwatching. The cabin was comfortable and homey. We will definitely go back!

5 STAR CAMP DOUG

Camp Doug is THE best VRBO that I have ever stayed at. Each time I do this I spend days in advance running through the list of things to take and this time I get there and Doug has it all. He even took the time to call me in advance to give me specific instructions for locating the property. Aside from the proper provisions on site being perfect, the entire place was extremely clean. If you want a cabin with comfort with a rugged creek this is your place.
