“Excellent village pub with great staff and atmosphere that matches its surroundings and in keeping with good old inn values. The chef provides a great variety of flavors and quality dishes all served hot and on hot plates. The stairs are somewhat challenging for the elderly and mobility impaired. I didn’t realize when booking that I could have requested a ground floor room. My bad - should have read the small print. Would definitely stay again if in the area.”

“We really enjoyed our stay, our room was clean and even had a little extra heater provided which was a nice touch. Everywhere was clean, the breakfast was delicious and cooked lovely. “Yes it’s a caravan park, but the purpose built pods are amazing. Everything you would need as a home away from home. A lovely stay for two nights. Felt safe within the park. Nice and quiet if you want the tranquility. The staff were friendly and very helpful as I had a very late check-in. Staff left instructions to find the key and directions to my pod. My only advice is to take your own bath towels or ask the reception to rent a towel before you arrive. Nothing worse than a long day of……
