“Coming back from a beutifull 15 days at Villa Soleil. I can not say enough praise for all the team at the villa that made our holiday worthwhile. Everything was spot on and the made us truly feel at home. Communication with Wolfgang as the owner was also great, nothing was too much a problem and arranged also a fantastic safari stay. We already miss the place and will keep it foundly in our hearts. Asante Sana!”

“Our stay at Katarina's house was lovely. Katarina is very good at communicating details and the house manager Hamadi was also very helpful. The house is beautifully designed and extremely unique, although it is in need of some updating such as resurfacing the pool and mending concrete cracking. We had some issues with the electricity going out but that is common in Kenya and the house manager was quick to address the issues. We hired the cook George for the week and he was great. “Pros: 1. Staff friendly and helpful. Cater to individual and group needs. Discrete. Great suggestions for drivers, restaurants, attractions etc 2. Beautiful clean home with AC and swimming pool. 3. Close to beach. Walking distance for most. 4. Wifi works 95% of time. Cons: 1. None except not as close to beach as i’d hoped. Recommendations: 1. Please have available a safety deposit box for passports, cash, documents, credit cards etc Summary: Yes i would stay here again. 4.9/5 stars.”

“Wir wurden sehr herzlich und freundlich von Monica empfangen. Sie hat uns in das Haus eingewiesen. Anschließend ist sie sofort los, um für uns ein ordentliches Frühstück einzukaufen. Das Lamu Haus ist sehr schön, allerdings innen etwas dunkel. Monica hat jeden Tag die Betten gemacht und aufgeräumt und an jedem zweiten Tag die Betten frisch bezogen. Sie ist eine fantastische Köchin und versteht es gut mit dem Geld zu Haushalten. Garten und Pool werden von Roger gepflegt. Hier ist jedoch……

“We arrived at the establishment around 930pm east check in but place in terrible condition, moldy, no AC in any room, fans are from 1900 only thing new is fridge. When we came back I was short of breath coz the moldy condition was so bad my larynx literally swole and I couldn’t speak at all. They didn’t have other rooms to switch us to so we had to leave thirty mins after arriving to a better sanitary place. I’m sorry but they need to be shut down and fix their insufficiencies. “A very clean, safe and comfortable property. Definitely more like an air B n B that has some hotel qualities. We enjoy cooking and the Amani had all the cookery we required. The staff is friendly and helpful. The only perplexing part was when we asked to extend our stay. The travel websites I checked said that there were vacancy's but when we inquired the front desk said no and it appeared to me that they didn't even check. Also no elevators so if don't like stairs this may not be for you.……

“The location is pretty good, the way to the ocean is close, but pretty rough. A good store is not within walking distance, but a 3 minute tuk-tuk ride away. The apartment is ok, a bit outdated, but roomy. The pool is spacious, looks outdated but clean, the good part is that there are usually not many people there. The guards at the property are very friendly.”
