"It was very clean, and I'm a germaphobe who hates hotels as a result. The bedding smelled fresh and clean. Beds were also comfortable and I slept well. The two areas for watching TV were both comfortable. Our primary goal was watching movies; we had 2 locations to do so. Note that DVDs are usable in the basement but there is no streaming available to that screen, while in the living room you can stream but no DVD playing. There were aspects of the house that were dated such as the bathrooms, however it did not overall adversely effect our stay as I'd rather have dated but clean as opposed to brand new and dirty. There were a ton of light switches and some were confusing but the majority of them had been labeled which was helpful and a thoughtful touch by the owners to make things easy for guests. When I had questions I received prompt replies."

"The house was well appointed and was very updated. It was very clean. The house was so cozy. The hot tub was huge and very clean. We did not get a chance to use the kayak or go on the lake because it was cold, however the area by the water is also well thought out with chairs and a fire pit with a view of the water. The only thing I would have changed is to have a railing that goes around the lower platform of the back deck (on the right side) and lighting at night on the steps that go down the back porch. Other than that everything was great!"

"If you’re looking to get away for the weekend for fun with family at the camp fire then this is the place to stay. This place had everything! We loved the decor, the Pac-Man Arcade brought me back to my child hood and it was such a cozy place to stay overall. We loved the fireplace and the fire pit in the backyard. We made s’mores, our favorite!"

"My family and I chose this place because we were visiting the nearby water park, Kalahari. The host was aware that we would be at a water park all day. After 7 hours of fun and wet heads we came to the house and it was 43 degrees. All thermostats were turned off. There was snow on the ground. I was really worried my children would get sick (ages 4 and 7). It took several hours for the house to heat up. The place was nice and so was the location, but I will not be returning due to the fact that we were that uncomfortably cold for that long after being at a water park all day."

"This was such a relaxing weekend away from the city…it rained the whole weekend but we still enjoyed every minute of it together in this house there was games, movies & the fireplace was a plus, the coziness of it was everything my daughter wanted for her birthday. My kids are already asking to go back for the summer. Thank you Nick and Jill"
