Had a very relaxing and comfortable stay at First Light… appreciated the views and all the thoughtful amenities - nice toiletries, well stocked kitchen and coffee/tea/hot chocolate bar. Comfy beds with nice linens. Enjoyed the hot tub and sauna and the chill vibe.

The most amazing family vacation

From the home itself to the amenities…the property right on the waterfront with the firepit, sauna and hottub with incredible views…it was even more than we could have imagined. Communication with the host was fantastic and check in/check out was a breeze. We cannot wait to come back again.

Stunning location

A beautiful, authentic house, with arguably one of the best locations and views in Tofino. We had the best time and would recommend to anyone. Erika was always on hand if you needed anything. Would absolutely come again when back in the area.

Fantastic Property Close to Town

This is a great property with a fantastic location just outside "downtown" Tofino. It met all of our expectations. Our host was outstanding and a good communicator. We would definitely stay here again if we're able to get back to Tofino.

Wonderful stay

We really enjoyed the hot tub, sauna and swimming in the sea at high tide. Nice big kitchen so everyone could participate in meal preparation. I liked the charging station. Nothing lacking.

This cottage worked out well for our family. The open main floor with huge windows looking over the water was spectacular. Erika was very easy to communicate with and our stay was special.

Excellent Host, Beautiful Home.

Our stay was amazing. We will definitely come back. Everything from meeting the care taker, to the chocolates left for us. To the space and the location which were all amazing. Five stars for sure. Thank you again hope to be back in the near future.

Good location and property

Excellent location and great just. We used fire pit by water a lot. Didn’t use sauna or hot tub. Easy walk into town. The loft is less ideal for a group of six (3 couples) but worked ok. Host was excellent and easy to communicate with. Would recommend property for families.

What a dreamy, dreamy place

Wow, what a great stay. Erika's home is even more beautiful than in the photos and the location was great. We were walking distance to restaurants, coffee, etc. but the house was so quiet. We loved the sauna with the view out the back, we visited to celebrate my birthday and I started a new decade with the sauna and a cold plunge in the morning. Erika was flexible and her communication was great, we thoroughly enjoyed meeting her and staying in her lovely home. 10/10 would stay again!

Fantastic Tofino Oasis!

I could not possibly be more pleased with our experience at this home. The location was perfect, right on the ocean, with an amazing woodfired, sauna, and hot tub. The owner was extremely communicative, and added so many special touches to the property, which made such a big difference for us. The beds are so comfortable, tons of natural light, and lots of cookware, which was great, because we were able to cozy up and stay home! I can’t wait to book this place again, I would highly recommend to anyone looking for that perfect Tofino getaway.
