The room was exactly as advertised, being a spacey stay for Tokyo. We had some issues with the key and lockbox, but the host was mostly quick at replying and assisting.

We traveled with young children. This room provided spacious for family and with kitchen helpful for family to cook a meal in rainy weather. This property is located near Teri line and easy access to connect with Shinjuku station for transfer lines. The host is easy to communicate with and she said bye to us when we checked out. Very nice property in a quiet neighborhood.

I truly wanted to give this a shot for our stay in Tokyo, as we were planning to spend most of our time outside of our bnb and only needed a small space. However, my partner and I became ill and needed to spend most of our 4days in Tokyo in bed. The accommodations were clean, thoughtful and generally comfortable. A filtered water machine or Brita would be a nice addition, as we kept needing to go to 7/11 to buy drinkable water. The tenants above the Hatsudai were extremely loud, provided the walls might also be thin.. This made for a bit of a frustrating experience because we were sick and hoping we could relax, and instead heard incessant rolling of suitcases and items dropping. The landlord/owner is very kind, and we appreciated her hearing our frustrations, but we were not offered any remedy other than an apology.

The room is clean, and I really like that there are plenty of outlets for charging devices. The owner is smart as the way things layout inside the room. We had a brief panic when we couldn’t find the key after unlocking the lock, but it turned out the key was stored inside the lock itself, not in the box. There are two subway stations nearby, though both require about a 15-minute walk each way. Overall, the accommodation offers good value for the price.

Nice apartment in a cozy area

We we’re a group of four and this was perfect in every way. Really nice and quiet neighborhood with a great location. Bus and train stops are a easy walking distance away. The apartment itself has everything you need for a nice stay. The staff kept us informed, if there was something we needed to know. Can recommend!
