Stay in Japan

Everything was wonderful, place was clean and host went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. Would highly recommend to anyone traveling in this area.

Clean & safe neighborhood but not an ideal vacation environment

I have mixed feeling about this place. It is clean and in a quiet neighborhood but If you are looking for easy access to Shinjuku or Shibuya, then this place is not for you. We had 2 small rooms but this “house” is shared by an older gentlemen so we were told to keep really quiet. We were literally whispering during our stay. You are also responsible for your own trash (make sure you keep up with which days to bring which trash out), if you miss the intended trash day you may be charged by the renter (his exact words). We are good visitors but paying to stay and having to remember all the rules were just crazy. And there were multiple rules. In short, the place is clean and neighborhood is safe, but I would not pay money to feel pressured again. Also, during our stay there I had messaged the renter once and never got a reply.

Gute Unterkunft mit super Anbindung

Wir (Familie mit 2 Kindern) hatten zwei tolle Wochen in Tokyo. Unsere Gastgeber (Australier) haben uns ein umfängliches Willkommenspaket gesendet, dass mit allen nützlichen Tipps versehen war. Wir wurden vor Ort empfangen und haben eine kurze Einweisung für das Haus und die Umgebung bekommen. Das war toll, da wir uns unauffällig in die Nachbarschaft eingliedern wollten und hoffentlich auch haben. Die Anbindung zur Metro war mit nur 4 Stationen zu Shinjuke perfekt. Natürlich sind die Häuser samt Einrichtungen in Japan deutlich anders als in Deutschland, aber für uns war es trotzdem ein tolles Erlebnis.
