Dirty carpet, given smaller room first but changed.poor house keeping even left note and called complain, still stain sink and toilet, worse than 2 stars.poor English breakfast, one who knows served white people but despise chines born Canadian.no greeting in English unless white.cold and exact breakfast 11 days.poor server plates fall on you.other complained to rude Iran lady too
The condition is Terrible. The room smells dust and bad. I requested to change to a newer room. The response surprised me. Pay 2000 more for a renovated room, which I did. The new room smells better but still far worse than most 3 star hotels, not to mention a 5 star hotel. Later I discovered that I sat down on a very dirty chair! Had to put a towel to cover. Have a photo to proof. Disappointed by this intercontinental a lot. Would rather to stay in a motel than this.
Enjoyed my stay, very clean and safe. Staff very friendly

The location of the hotel is great, close to the subway and a short walk away from restaurants and shops. But the hotel and the service was disappointing. The hotel facilities are very old and dated.
The service overall was poor. When I checked in, the room that they gave was not as pictured and I had to complain to get the room changed. The cleaning service was not great, even when I put the card to change the sheets it was not done. They didn’t help with our bags when we were leaving and when I ordered food delivery, the hotel wanted to charge 500 yen to send the food to the room. In all the hotels I have stayed in, none have ever wanted to charge to get something sent to the room. The delivery rider was happy to send the food to the room instead but the hotel insisted that I had to come down or pay 500 yen for them to send it up.
They advertise themselves as 4.5 stars but the service is the level of a 3 star hotel.

The hotel is a run of the mill mid Market business hotel. Lots of airline pilots.
There is nothing for tourists in this mud twin area. The walk to the metro is deceptively long. One reaches the metro entrance in a block but then once underground it's a long way to the trains.
Rooms are really small. Came here during the pre-Christmas season and room prices more than doubled.
Important thing is, the concierge service is great. Probably among the best among all the countries and hotels I have been to. Prime hotels in Bangkok being the exception.
