“The room was large and spotless. Refrigerator worked well. Staff helped me to book a scuba trip and checked on me regularly to see if I needed anything. The bed was really comfortable. It took me a minute to figure out that the hot water in the shower was really hot and you had to use the cold water to give it pressure, but is was heaven after a long scuba day. I spent a lot of time in the hammock on the porch. Perfect location in the middle of the walking area of Placencia. ”

“So great to stay here close to everything. They had a list of local place to Che k out and taste local foods. Which we did and each one was just as good as the last one. We can't wait to return. I would recommend the stay here to anyone.”

“This island is AMAZING! Everything from the gorgeous water, snorkeling, kayaking, well appointed cabanas, friendly staff, to the phenomenal food! My husband and I really enjoyed our relaxing vacation. We love that it wasn’t a party atmosphere but a laid back and enjoyable one. We had the island to ourselves most of the time with day trippers only staying for part of the day. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a unique getaway suitable for lovebirds or families!”

“Miss Kay's cottage is wonderful, as is Miss Kay herself! Perfect location on the most beautiful beach, and an easy 5 minute walk to a dozen good bars and restaurants. I stayed for 3 peaceful and relaxing weeks, reading books on the porch, swimming, kayaking, walking, snoozing in a hammock. Picture-perfect vacation!”

“Truly a slice of paradise.
The staff are incredible, the food is amazing, the amenities are plentiful. We had the most amazing stay with our 5 and 7 year olds. Never a dull moment. And, even in the rain, we made fantastic memories. king Leary’s does not disappoint. ”
