The house was clean, plenty of space, beautiful views of the farm land, close to restaurants and some shopping, conveniently located near Starved Rock & Matthieson State Parks, and the communication with the homeowner was exceptional! Be sure to stop at Jamie's Outpost for a drink (Roadhouse vibe). The food at Canal Port is amazing and it's located in such a cute area with lots of other places to visit in Utica. 」

We loved seeing and reading the articles about the house, which gave us a glimpse into its history while incorporating modern necessities that most families desire. 「We were in town for a family birthday party and this house was perfect for us. They have done a great job renovating, keeping the beautiful historic features but making the home comfortable and convenient. Check in and check out were super easy. Everything was clean and well stocked. The kitchen had all the dishes for a large family and the dining room table was large enough to accommodate everyone as well. We hope to stay here again.」

「I liked everything about the property. Especially that most everything was within walking distance. The room was spacious, and very clean. I liked that there were snacks, and a small kitchenette. They had everything that you would need, stored away, in case you forget something on your trip. Mike and Jill were very nice, and i will definetely stay with them again the next time i go see my kids. 😁」

「The outside does not look very nice, but the inside does. The location was incredible. The bunkbeds however, did not work for us. They were way too noisy. You might want to bring coffee. We had to buy some because there was only a tiny amount there. There is no stove or oven FYI, that did not bother us at all other than that the kitchen is well stocked. 」
