Vacation Stay in my Homeland
Cabin was very nice. I'm sure there is a lot to do around the cabin/lake, but I was meeting with family in the area. So we spent most of our time away from this cabin. Only used it for sleeping. More the adequate accommodations.

An enjoyable vacation!
We found the cabin charming and clean. It was ideally located where we enjoyed biking the Bearskin trail, kayaking, and boating on Lake Nokomis. We rented a pontoon at the resort and Gary made sure the boat was ready and operational. We had a great time!

Two bedrooms not acurate
The property is listed as 2 bedrooms and sleeps 5. The property is actually only 1 bedroom with a Murphy fold-out bed located in the family room (and couch). It is 2 beds, not 2 bedrooms.

Pleasently Surprised
From the moment we got there, Missy, Doug, and Gary treated us loik old friends. Good people. The cabin is alittle dated and tired, but clean, open and cabin like. 13 in. of rain a week earlier shut off the fish. We brought motorcycles to make up for that. Excelent mcy roads up there. Met some nice people at the communal fire pit sittin on the edge of the lake. Every other person we met there were return customers. I would return, i never got the chance to meet Dale, the owner, but no need to, he answerd all my question on the computer.......hmmmm, i wonder if dale is a computer....lol...the laid back attitude of the staff along with the nice location helped me to realize that the older furniture in the cabin was irevelent. We renter a pontoon boat for 4 days, it is also alittle older and used, but has a good motor that ran great. Leaveing it all gassed up and ready for next customer made the staff happy, so they had more time to help the awnrey people......where ever ya go theres awnrey people. Over all our stay was a 4.8 outa 5, and we would back again.

Spent a week in the north woods
Overall the cabin was good. There are not two separate bedrooms which we thought. And there was no beach for little kids like the photos show, but the kids still swam. We really only stayed for sleep and for breakfast so it was an ideal location for more exploring. We had limited supplies which was tough and there wasn’t anything left for COVID cleaning like hand sanitizers etc. The staff at the motel was very helpful.

Hello Megan, thank you for choosing to stay with us and for taking the time to complete a review! The water table on Lake Nokomis is quite high this year and as a result we didn't have a beach area during your stay. We have had difficulties getting disinfecting wipes, hand sanitizers and even liquid hand soap from our suppliers and from the nearby stores due to limited supplies. We did find a supplier in Green Bay however, so we are fully stocked now. Every year is exciting on beautiful Lake Nokomis, we continue to make improvements each year as will. SERIOUSLY.?????
Dirty upon arrival. Non smoking RUSTIC cabin. Arrival day, Cigarette butts inside entry, inside track of sliding doors & outside doors.!! 1960’s cooking amenities(2 hot plates,1 works) No cupboards for groceries(stored on table) No laundry facilities, dirty silverware on floor, dish strainer w/cups on counter for guests to wash(?), toothpaste on bedroom sink counter from previous guest(?) One bedroom other bed in living room, carpets dirty & stained. The list is too long. Owners need to have deep professional cleaning done.!! INSIDE & OUT.!! At first complaint to owners, deep clean should of been done. Apology was made, motel manager next door, came by to bring us clean towels & bedding. Nice but not their responsibility. . Homes on lake go for less. They have modern upgrades.! Pontoon boat Ridiculous!! 1st one, steering locked up had to return. 2nd ran but in horrible shape. Local dealer will deliver new boats & not charge this much.! Extremely frustrated. Refund due to us.!!!!! BEWARE, UPGRADES must be made to charge 2020 prices.!!

It was a beautiful cabin ! Very clean and all the comforts of home
The staff was so attentive. There was no oven in our cabin and dale provided a new gas grill for us ! We used the cook top and it worked out . Loved this place !

Nice clean cabin had everything we needed Great Lake views convenient to the area attractions
The boat rental on site was very convenient the lake was nice with a lot to explore throughout the chain would definitely come back
