「Gorgeous views and well appointed room. Sunrise and sunset both viewed from balcony during our stay late November. Breakfast included a great variety of healthy options. The property provides easy access to all walkable trails in the area and direct access to Praia da Mareta 」

「You really couldn’t ask for a better resort with young children. I have seen this hotel for years and it definitely lived up to the hype. My two kids never ran out of stuff to do. We had a three bedroom villa and it was absolutely perfect. I really enjoyed the seafood pasta at both restaurants and the kids menus were diverse to cater to any preferences. We spent a lot of time at the resort, but also left to go to neighboring towns and it is a beautiful area to explore if you have a car.」

「This was my second stay, returning after three years and my stay was even better than the first. The staff were superb. There was a weather incident upcoming during my stay and they were very knowledgeable. Also it was just nice to talk about living there rather than the usual hostel talk. The beds were good and comfortable. Having a curtain really shuts you away and gives a good sleep. So very happy for that. Always loved the breakfast spread. It's so unique and if you need a reason to stay...

「Unfortunately we seem to have been given the worst unit despite all the others being empty! No heater, broken shower head, shower draining too slowly to cope with the flow, table dangerously unstable, toilet consistently running, bench sofas which weren’t comfortable at all. 」

「The place was beautiful and the owners were beyond accommodating. We had so much fun relaxing at the pool and going to the beach in the morning. It’s a little outside of Lagos but definitely worth the stay」

「We had an incredible time at Monte da Vilharinha. Driving into the property is like something out of a movie. The rural landscape boasts quintessential while buildings, herds of cows with bells, fields of flowers and streams. When we arrived we were greeted by Jafer and the property dog cookie. Jafer was the most incredible host guiding us around the property, letting us know where to take the (free) bikes and available to answer any questions via WhatsApp at any time. Breakfast is included...

「Although well located, our unit needed a fair amount of TLC. in particular, the sofas were very dirty. As for the beds, the mattress needed a full replacement. I had to sleep on the couch in order not to feel pain from my back. As for the service, we had a good experience with the restaurant personnel as well as the purser. But the reception employee provided a sub par service. A final word, this resort has not the structure for individuals having a mobility impairment. 」
