"Although not within close proximity to train station, which is what we'd have preferred, the hotel is just a short walk from a bus stop - there are two buses that can bring you there from the Miyako train station. Buses run regularly during the day - be sure to grab a bus schedule at the train station or the tourist information center situated right next door. "The restaurant at the first floor was so delicious. Both the free breakfast buffet and the paid for dinner were fulfilling! The staff was very helpful and friendly, hailing me a taxi with an English speaking driver. We had a wonderful conversation! The staff also properly stored my luggage while I went to the museums within the area."
