"My friend and I stayed for 1 night at Kominka Mitsuhama Ryokan in early November. We were very surprised by how much thought and effort was put into decorating this 100 year old house. It was truly an unforgettable experience staying there. Our host was like a cherry on top of the whole experience. "Pros: Staff were helpful and welcoming, despite limited English. Breakfast was good. A few steps from the ferry port. Cons:A shared toilet room with urinals-not so nice?! There was a sink in our private room, but so low and in a space 12 inches wide, so almost impossible to use. Condition of facility was poor. Few restaurants open at night on neighbouring streets."
