  • Perfectly situated to overlook the water and forest surrounds, Rivers Edge is an ideal base for those planning bushwalking, mountain biking, fishing, or kayaking. A private, heat-pump-heated outdoor pool provides a luxurious touch to this regional setting and is available for guest use from September through May.

    The home is thoughtfully configured to ensure a memorable stay, featuring 3 bedrooms with a total capacity for 10 guests. The layout is centred around a large open-plan kitchen and living area, designed for communal dining and shared relaxation. A wood-burning fireplace provides a focal point for quiet evenings and family connection.

    Nature-Focused: Immediate access to the forest and waterways of East Gippsland.
    Family Comfort: Equipped with high-speed Wi-Fi, a gas BBQ, and undercover parking.
    Restorative Setting: A space designed for a slower, more intentional pace of life.
    Rivers Edge is located in a quiet regional pocket where the peace of the neighbours and the local wildlife is of the utmost importance.

    The property is strictly a retreat for families and mature groups. To maintain the serene environment, the home is not suitable for parties, or rowdy gatherings. Guests are expected to respect the quiet nature of the community and treat the property with the care of a private residence.

    Important Details
    The Pool: The pool is professionally serviced prior to arrival. As the property is situated in the Australian bush, natural elements such as leaves or insects may enter the water between services; a pool-cleaning robot is provided for guests to use for a quick refresh if required.
    Capacity: Accommodation is strictly limited to 10 guests (inclusive of children) across 3 bedrooms.

Reviewer Comments: Fabulous home with your very own private fishing from the back yard, house has everything you need, kitchen is very well equipped, the house has a very open floor plan which is great for groups gathering but yet kids can play and the adults can still be at peace. Perfect for 2 large families, we didn’t need to leave as the house can accommodate to every needs, will definitely stay again during summer to make use of the pool. Thanks again for having us.

Superb property

Stayed here in a group of 10 for a long weekend. The property was amazing. Watching the mist over the river in the mornings was a treat. We tried our luck at fishing. Kids managed to score a couple of small bream using Pipis as bait. I tried everything, lures, pilchards, worms, prawns, pipis and didn't get a thing. Plenty of fish to be seen. Just none of them liked my offerings. The house itself is very nice. Wasn't left wanting for anything. Although I spent most of my time outside 'not' catching fish. The free wifi is very fast considering the location. Speedtest result was 125mbit. So, plenty of Oomph for multiple people to stream netflix etc. With an outside extender giving range down to the river. Location wise is pretty good. Only about 10min drive to Lake Tyers Beach Tavern which offered a decent feed for both Adults & Kids. Would love to come back again. With less people (kids) to take in the serenity and possibly a spear gun. Would give me a better chance at scoring free dinner. Also, there's a free drone to anyone that can find it. It can be located about 400 metres south of the property, near the rivers edge. Obstical sensors aren't all they're cracked out to be apparently. lol.
