We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Toor! It was conveniently located, making it less than a ten minute walk to Eaton Center Mall and the local farmers markets. The staff were so helpful and the valet was a great touch. The wonderful concierge even gave us passes to the bar for free mocktails and decorated our hotel room for my wife’s birthday.

We had a wonderful stay and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The team was incredibly welcoming from the moment we arrived and kindly accommodated our early check-in, which made the day so much easier for us. The room itself was lovely—clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed. The location was great, just a short walk from plenty of great food options, which made exploring the area super convenient. We also used the valet service and had a great experience there as well—quick, friendly, and hassle-free. Overall, a fantastic stay. We would absolutely come back and highly recommend it to others!

Overall, I had a wonderful stay and the staff were lovely. My only note is that there may have been a plumbing issue in my unit. I could hear the pipes rattling, and it was quite loud. Also, the layout of the room felt a bit off. There’s a narrow corridor-like space between the closets and a small nook area that honestly felt uncomfortable. As a solo traveler, it made me uneasy since it’s the kind of space where someone could realistically hide without you knowing. From a design and safety perspective, it might be worth rethinking that layout.

The room was awesome and the hotel actually smelled great. I was very excited to stay here but the front desk staff really annoyed me. There was a large family checking in at the same time as I did, I arrived to the hotel at 3:10pm knowing that check in is 4pm. I asked if I could get in any earlier, and the girls at the front said they would check if that would be possible, they never actually checked, and then deliberately didn’t check me in until after 4pm. I’m not upset about not getting in early, but I do feel super disrespected by the way the staff behaved. My daughter was sick, and I told them that. I wish they could have at least got me in on time. The girls were really unkind. The cleaning staff was delightful, and other front desk staff seemed pleasant. In terms of the hotel location, it was close enough to CN Tower and Scotia Bank Arena, and the suite was well maintained, it’s a newer hotel.

This hotel is ok but has some kinks to work out. Things seem nicely appointed at first but details like the soap dish (its impossible to grab the soap out of it after a couple of uses) seem like they prioritize form over function. We hung the sign to have our room cleaned while we were out and when we came back the sign was completely removed but our room hadnt been touched. I also noticed the duvets are just sandwiched between sheets instead of proper covers. Not a huge issue when the bed is tightly made but seems unhygenic when the bed is unmade and reused. Communication between hotel departments seemed to be disconnected which led to delays of us getting our room and cleaning services. Would actually rank lower but i am giving it an extra star for its convenient location and the fixtures being new.
