“The lodge is very well equipped with lots of little extras like cooking oil, games, DVDs etc. The beds are very comfy and sleeps 5 people really well. The site is very quiet and has a kids play area. Easy to walk to East Soar and then to the coast path or to Overbeck Gardens & down to South Sands to catch the ferry to Salcombe. ”

“We had a wonderful time in Lower Hill Cottage. The hot tub was wonderful and enjoyed by the children. Was fun having to put the logs on to make/keep it hot. Could have done with a few games in the cottage for when the weather turned on us mind. I recommend Shell Woods and definitely Blisland Woods. I would definitely recommend this little holiday home. Thanks for having us!”

“We were a bit nervous having read some poor reviews for Whitsand Bay Fort but this unit is privately owned and was perfect for us as a family of 4. Everything we needed was provided. If you're looking for lots of beach time, the closest beach is Treganhawke which is absolutely beautiful and there are life guards on duty however the climb is really steep so be prepared 😀”

“We booked this property as a base for a family wedding in July 2022, and we were not disappointed. It’s a beautiful and spacious dorma style property on a peaceful rural holiday park, faultlessly clean and extremely well equipped for families. There were six adults and two boisterous small children in our party and there was ample space for everyone.
