“We had a lovely time, Elaine and her husband were very welcoming. The accommodation had everything you needed. We sat and watched the boats go by from the balcony. Walked to the local pub which was very nice and over the bridge to meet some friends. Cute location good value for money.”

“Absolutely nothing prepared us for how stunning this place is. The pictures do not give that view justice at all. We slept with the patio door to the bedroom open every night just looking out and listening to the sound of the sea. Drinks on the veranda were just perfect and you could honestly just spend the whole week soaking up that view.The house was clean, spacious and had everything we needed and the host was fantastic, his hospitality was second to none.We really didn't want to leave and……

“We enjoyed a 5 days break at the Barn in July - The communication from Vicky and Nathan prior to our stay and arrival instructions were excellent. The accommodation was very comfortable with comfy beds, good showers, nice bed linen and towels and we were impressed by the generous welcome pack and homemade cake. Our grown up kids enjoyed playing table tennis on site and we had a couple of swims in Portmellon. The Barn is well located for Mevagissy, the Lost Gardens of Heligan and The Eden……

“Property has a great location and fantastic views. A particular feature was the sitting room with large sash window. Inside property a little tired and would have benefited from an extra bathroom given it can sleep 10. We enjoyed our stay.”

“We had the most wonderful stay at Combe Down. It’s a truly magical place to visit with family or friends. The photos do no justice to the incredible sea views you have from the garden, and most of the bedrooms. The interior decor is gorgeous and perfectly kept. The kitchen is extremely well stocked with a lovely welcome hamper. The location is 7-8 min drive down into Salcombe and to nearby beaches, but it’s lovely to be away from the hustle and bustle of town and have more space to enjoy. The……

“What an absolute pleasure it was to stay at this incredible property! Our family of 5 adults, two small children and two dogs thoroughly enjoyed a great week here. The weather was fantastic which always helps, but what makes this place special is the view which is to die for and the lovely, welcoming hosts. “Fabulous property that was very clean and well equipped. The steps up to the property may be a bit of an issue for the less mobile. It was a very short walk to Looe centre. Nice views over the estuary. Had an issue with the heating, but the property manager was on the case.”
