An impressive period home built in 1845 that was formally a Local Public House and is located within a 10 minute walk to the award winning Torre Abbey Sands. Right on the door step is the stunning Marina and entertainments for the whole family.

With 5 double bedrooms, a wood burning stove, roof terrace for bbqs and fully equipped kitchen, The old Church House is perfect for your family getaway in all seasons.

Lovely house, 15 minutes walk to beach, lots of nice touches like games, tea and coffee, condiments, did not use the rooftop as we had younger children and it did not feel too safe but that is just our preference, would recommend

Birthday get together

Had booked a property back in April for a family birthday gathering and my booking through Airbnb was cancelled a week before we were due to stay. So I fortunately found this property to rent for the same period at short notice. It was further to walk to the seafront but had more bedrooms which was good. Unfortunately no outside space and the roof terrace advertised was unusable with a few bits of broken furniture on it. On the whole the place worked out fine but could have done with a better clean. Wasn’t at all happy to use the kitchen apart from the fridge and the microwave could do with replacing as probably beyond cleaning. I did point all these issues out so hopefully future guests will not have these issues. It really is a good size an easy walk to the seafront. If all put right is a good place to stay.

Couple of problems as place had a few bits where it wasnt cleaned and neighbourhood seemed slightly dodgy. However very nice place and would go back.

Torquay weekend

We enjoyed a relaxing weekend in torquay Everything was clean and tidy. The hosts were great and easy to contact. Local amenities were close by making it easy and convenient for our needs. We slept well in the comfortable beds and I enjoyed the well equipped kitchen.

Large house, great size bedrooms, large dining table for all 8 of us, nice new kitchen. Good fish and chip shop round the corner and useful corner shop. Parking tricky for unloading.
