  • Rent Farmhouse in the parish of Felgar, council of Torre de Moncorvo (Northeast of Trás-os-Montes). The villa is rustic in style and very welcoming or it was not in a rural environment. It has a suite, two double bedrooms and one single, a common room with fireplace and a kitchen also with a fireplace and central heating.
    For those who like to spend a holiday or a quiet weekend and recharge batteries, then this option is ideal. Situated between the beautiful Douro vineyard and the river Sabor with its fabulous landscapes lies this inspiring retreat. Taking walks, biking through the ecopist or paths of agricultural routes and taste the gastronomic specialties transmontanas, among other tourist attractions are some of the proposals that are here for those who are thinking of embarking on this experience,

We had a wonderful holiday ... if you are looking for a lovely villa in a beautiful location then look no further. On the practical side ... super comfy beds, great A/C ( which was needed as temperature in high 30's) ... well equipped kitchen, big fridge/freezer, oven,hob, dishwasher, coffee machine. The house is surrounded by almond groves and vineyards and the apple and plum trees in the garden along with a gorgeous bank of agapanthus enhance the beautiful exterior.The pool is fabulous and the terrace above the pool has amazing views to the mountains beyond ... perfect for an al fresco lunch or dinner under the shaded pergola. The grounds are illuminated at night giving it a perfect ambience... we played scrabble and board games. There is a lovely little shop in the villade called Rodrigues which was perfect for everyday supples but for a bigger shop there is an Intermarche in Torres de Moncorvo just a few km's away.Eating out ... we would recommend O'Lagar and Taberna do Carro both in Torres de Moncorvo and O'Artur in Lugar all serving great food with lovely friendly staff (especially if your Portuguese is as bad as ours).We visted the Archeological Museum nearby , had a great day by the river at Foz do Sabor and an amazing wine tasting at a nearby vineyard.Nothing was too much trouble for our host Vitor, he was a delight and was happy to provide information on the area.All in all it was an idyllic location for some well deserved relaxation... we loved it .

Peaceful Retreat

This is a wonderful location for a peaceful stay, but also a great place to visit Porto or the Douro Valley wineries. Vitor was a great communicator and made sure we had a wonderful stay.

La villa est conforme à l'annonce spacieuse très bien entretenue. Les chambre sont très bien et toutes la maison est très fonctionnelle. Étant en plein ois de juillet nous avons profité plus de l'extérieur. Les enfants me reparle encore de la piscine idéal pour une grande famille. Tout était parfait. Les propriétaires étaient très accueillant. Nous avons passé un séjour formidable. Hormis un petit soucis d'eau du à des travaux dans le village, et que les propriétaires ont résolu en a peine 2h, vraiment très efficace. Je recommande cette location. Merci encore à Hugo et ces parents, très gentil et toujours disponibles.
