“The photos on the Expedia website was misleading made you feel like the hotel was in a nice village or farm environment but actually a street side old restaurant + hotel building. After settling down the hotel room was nice, comfortable and clean! The shower water volume was massive one of the best in world as far as I can remember! Few free parking spaces on side which was convenient. Breakfast was so so far from the photos on the website.”

“Great spot in front of the sea & a short walk to Miramare grounds and castle. Good comfortable room, soft towels, good shower, efficient air con & good sound -proofing to outside & etc easy to park in hotel parking area. But disappointing that the hotel had no beach area/beach loungers or facilities in front of the hotel, and the only serviced beach area was a walk away, charged for entry. “Unfortunately, the space was not clean, I did not feel comfortable and welcome. The cushions on the chairs on the balcony were completely wet. The room is oriented and only 2-3 meters away from the main road on which, among other things, trucks drive, and the doors do not provide any sound insulation. The price far exceeds the type of accommodation and service. I'm sorry, but this is real right now and what I experienced.”

“I didnt like the bed bugs, or how the owner, rather than dealing with them and refunding, instead claimed i was lying, then that i brought them (this was my first hotel after coming from my home) refused to refund and made me crawl through hoops with expedia to resolve. Thankfully i had kept my luggage closed the first night, and was able to heat treat it upon booking to another hotel in the area after checking out immediately...”

“It's not a hotel but newly decorated rooms on tbe 2nd and 3rd floors of a normal building. The room and the bed are big and comfortable. It's a pity it's noisy from the traffic outside as there is no double window. It's very near the station on foot. I arrived before check-in time and they let me leave my luggage in the room as it as ready, which was very kind.”

“The room was clean and in a good location. There was no A/C, however (we were told it was Sunday and there was no solution before we checked out). It was quite warm and it was quite loud with all the windows open. The WiFi was very poor.”

“The hotel is in the restored former headquarters of an insurance company. It has a grand entrance. (You may need the porter's help with luggage to get up the stairs). The bar is on an old classical style room which was great for cocktails. It is worth exploring the 1st floor. The rooms are modern, large and comfortable with nice bathrooms. “This is a hidden gem. A car is essential as the hotel is in a very pretty but rural area with no other facilities. However the hotel is absolutely first class, the rooms are spacious, airy and well appointed. The hotel restaurant is brilliant with a great selection of local dishes and on Saturday and Sunday a quaint small bar at the front of the hotel where you can sit and watch the occasional cyclist or car go by. The owning family are so helpful and made us feel so welcome ”

“Excellent location - could fault it and quiet with the windows closed even though there were restaurants nearby. Good modern bathroom and just enough in the kitchen for minimal eating in. Would have appreciated salt/pepper and perhaps oil. Would recommend.”
