Very nice hotel. The apartment we stayed in was a bit aged, but comfortable enough. Buffet was amazing at both dinner and breakfast. Staff were great! The kids pool was a great success with our 2 years old.

Excellent facility for kids to play and enjoy pool time. Busy as expected, lot food options but may rather find balance between quality and quantity. Staff accommodating but also busy. Pool floor quality slippery so maybe some warning for young kid and elderly may help prevent unfortunate falls. Overall excellent for pool, beach time and reasonable price.

We loved our time at Iberostar Waves Málaga Playa. It was beautiful in every way. The beach only steps away from the pool. The grounds are gorgeous and the staff fun and helpful. The food was delicious with so many options. We had breakfast plan so we went to restaurants for dinner which was great being 10 minutes walk to many options.

Ocean view was beautiful. Food quality and variety was good . Staff friendly. My first time being asked to put a deposit down for an iron!! I returned the iron at check and was told I would get a refund . Still waiting for my twenty euros ;-)

The property or clean and very nice. However: The pictures show a beach but this is not part of the hotel and need to pay for beach chair and umbrella Restaurants in the area are average and limited options for nice dining No touristic attractions nearby Uber is only transportation and very expensive Most tourist attractions leave from Malaga which is around 45 minutes away. There is an all inclusive option but if you don’t chose that, a meal would pay €35 per person You have to pay €3 per day for the in room safe The airport is around an hour away.

We really enjoyed the activities for both children and adults. There should be kettles in the rooms. The free filtered water was excellent. The buffet was one of the best we have visited, but a bit crowded.

It is a very good hotel and the all inclusive concept is generous and works well. Staff is very good in general, although there is always an exception. Location itself is great, the village of Torrox not really special

The staff were all great, including waiting, cleaning and reception staff. Shame there’s no sun loungers at the beach, given it’s a beachside property. Towel system a bit annoying. Pools not being heated was an issue for October holiday but can imagine summer it’s ok. The one main issue we found was the allergy labelling on food was inconsistent and not clear at all. The staff were also not reassuring, telling us one thing had something in one night and then the next night not. Would be very worrying for serious allergies.

Very well organised and well appointed family hotel. We had an apartment with half board but all inclusive is available. The apartment had a basic kitchen and there’s a supermarket almost opposite. There’s direct access to the beach from the swimming pool area. Travelling with a coeliac and Spain, and this hotel in particular, seems very well set up for gluten-free eating.

The pool is fantastic. Clean and safe. All the staff were really helpful on reception except for 1 man who let the team down - quite rude and arrogant when checking us in and when we needed some help with our room also. The lady that did the Bingo on 7th June made up for it though :)

We came for the first time to this hotel. When we arrived the person at the reception was friendly but just checked in without explaining the accomodations. Where we have to go for breakfast or how to go to the beach. That was a pitty. The food at the hotel is really nice and you have a lot of choice. Every evening there is a theme for dinner. The personal in the restaurant and at the pool are really friendly and nice to kids. Everything in the hotel was very clean. Every day they came with fresh food or ice cream at the pool for free for everyone. In the pool the kids cannot use a floatable toy although it's a family hotel and the pool is really big. Overall it was a nice holiday and we had a lot of fun.
