We had a fabulous holiday at Garden Cottage.

We had a fabulous holiday at Garden Cottage. The cottage was very comfortable for the 4 of us adults and our dog. Kitchen was fully operational and we cooked most evenings. Beds were comfortable. Comfortable seating and dining. Walks and runs out from the cottage were along quiet country lanes with beautiful hedgerows. We were disappointed that the swimming pool, indoor activities and tennis courts weren't open due to Covid 19, but to be expected. We ventured out to Salcombe, Torbay, Dartmouth and Dartmoor all of which were beautiful and within 20 to 30 minutes. The landlord Ian was very helpful before and during our stay - fudge was a really nice opening gift! A great holiday in a lovely cottage. Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

Lovely cottage in a rural setting. Clean and comfortable and with a conservatory. Good sports facilities on site. Unfortunately there was no local public paths or woods to walk the dog and the access road for one mile is very narrow.

Lovely cottage, well appointed, dog friendly. Superb pool and leisure area, with indoor squash, badminton, pool table, full size snooker table. Outdoor tennis court and children’s play area serving only a small number of cottages. Short drive to coast or Totnes. Recommend!

We had a lovely time at Garden Cottage.

We had a lovely time at Garden Cottage. It’s comfortable and well equipped and the onsite facilities of a swimming pool, games room and outdoor play area was a great bonus for our family. The cottage has a large garden (it’s not able to be secured for dogs) which will be lovely to enjoy in the spring and summer. It’s a short drive to the local village or a mile or so walk but there’s not much there and as it’s a single track road, we drove everywhere. I think you’d need a car to appreciate the local area and to get to the beaches. Totnes is a 10 minute drive and there’s a large Morrison’s, lots of pubs and more cafes and restaurants than you could ever visit in one week. Ben’s Tapas and Wine bar comes highly recommended. We would definitely visit and stay again.
