"We had an amazing time here, everyone was SO friendly. The onsen was lovely and the rooms had everything we needed. The staff were really lovely and took time to show us the best bits about town, they made sure we saw the fireflies and the mechanical clock, plus great places to eat. Friendly not flashy."

"I was looking for a really relaxing stay in Misasa and this hotel did not disappoint! There's a great sense of calm at the Saiki Bekkan, from the vast, carpeted main lobby with its dramatic glass wall overlooking the traditional garden to the spacious and multi-roomed accommodation. The hot spring baths are enormous and provide ample opportunity for bathing both indoors and in outside pools. The food was sumptuous and the staff incredibly friendly. "It is an older Buddhist temple and feels wonderful to be in a place with such character and history. The meals (all are vegetarian in accordance with Buddhist tradition) are a delicious delight. This is from one who is not a vegetarian! The service is personal and sincerely caring. I would recommend visiting Daisen and staying there. "
