The toilet in the hotel was broken so we were asked to find a small apartment; one of their other properties. Being only in France for a few hours, we had a difficult time finding the mysterious door that blended in with the rest of the nightlife. It took about a hour of walking around at 9pm with our bags and asking many for help along the way. The apartment was maybe 50 sq feet, very small. The window had a barricade so you could not see out of it but the noise still made its way in. We could not get the AC to work so it was very, very hot inside, despite it being only 50 degrees F outside. It was an experience!

Room underground! It was below street level (this should be written very clearly when booking, it wasn’t written at all). without windows. Smallest bathroom ever seen. Spots on the walls. Two nights stay, room not cleaned after the first night.

For the money go elsewhere
Front desk wasn't there when I showed up. Came walking down street about ten minutes after I arrived and stood out front. Tiniest shower ever, can't control AC temp in room, no hand towel or shower mat and the room I had was on front at street level. Super noisy.

Be careful booking here
I turned up at the hotel at 23:30, tired, not really knowing my way around and 2% phone battery because the trains didn't have charge points - only to be told I'm staying at an appartment 10 mins away! Not sure if this is normal in France, but I didn't like it. Had there not been another person, who knew the way, I wouldn't have found it. Also the appartment was next to a church, so if you want a sleep in forgot, bells ringing at 8:20am and again, like a child who won't let go of a rope, at 8:50. It's not the year 1600 anymore. Thankfully the bed was clean but it was a grotty 1 star appartment.

I reserved and paid a week in advance for a room. The room I was given was smelling cigarette smoke as if someone just smoked an entire pack. I asked the front desk to change room but they told me that they didn't have any other available. I couldn't open the windows because they were sealed. The air conditioning unit was very weak so I ended up sleeping in a smoked room. It was very late at night when I arrived so I didn't try to find another place. The staff was like "sorry but his is the way it is and nothing can be done". The place was dirty and very small. The photos make it look much nicer than it is. I have travelled all around the world and have rarely encountered such a rip off . Anyways, it's cheap but you get a very cheap experience in return.

A necessary stay due to train connections. Creepy place with dude painted on the wall in my closet sized room. I think theu orderthe bathroom from the caravan maker.. it was So small! No elevator but ac was good - well room was tiny could have cooled it with an ice cube

Nice helpful staff. Room very small but not a problem for me. My only criticism was I was on top/4th floor & there’s no lift. That’s fine for me but others might struggle. I’d stay here again & in the same room, all good.

Not worthy to stay
Check-in There was nobody at the reception. So, I had to wait outside in cold. When finally the receptionist showed up,he didn't even say hi even though I said. He went to the microwave straight to warm his sandwich. I asked him to do check in and he reluctantly did so. But, he spoke zero English. Housekeeping They failed to leave towels. The towel I finally got had some yellow dirt. Noise I'm my room, I could hear all the steps on the stairs. In the middle of the night at 3:30am, the receptionist and another man were talking and laughing so loud about 15 minutes. Then, the man walked upstairs with his heavy shoes and some luggage. He bumped the luggage every a few steps so it was so loud. I couldn't sleep well at all and my stay there was very unpleasant.

Not good vale for money
The room smelled really awful as soon as I got into it and bet it did not have any breathe of fresh air for a long time. The room was not vacuum cleaned let alone ever washed. I still had men shave left over in the sink and every day I hoped that the cleaner will see it and will bother to clean the bathroom sink for once but no it remained there for my whole stay.

Location wise, it was very near the train station and quite convenient. But the rooms are a bit small and the bathroom really small. You can barely fit in the bathroom. Dirty sock covering the fire alarm sensor. Bed and pillows dirty and not comfortable.

Good for a short stay
Really small room, tiny bathroom, but for a few nights it's more than enough, since I didn't travel to waste time lingering inside a hotel room, it's only for shower and sleep. The room had a TV and air conditioning, which i wasn't even expecting. The area is not the best, but I can't blame the hotel for it.

Great value hotel close to main train station and the historic centre. Very clean and secure. Well designed rooms which are small but have everything you need. Good wifi service. I would happily stay here again.

Shirts hanging over single bed
This is probably the worst hotel I have ever visited. My room was up 4 flights of stairs. When I finally got to the top, my key pass didn't work. Despite several trips up and down the night manager failed to get me another key, suggesting simply that I avoid going out. The room was miniscule, and a deadly fire trap as the windows are locked and there is no fire escape. There is no wardrobe so your shirts hang over your head, on a lamp stem above the single bed. In the morning, I was told that breakfast was 10 euros extra, and that I would have had to have ordered it the night before. This was Sunday and everything was closed. Also the hotel is slap bang in the middle of the red light district.

Tardis inside and out
The room was very small. Less than 2 metres across. I could touch the walls with my outstretched arms. After 3 days the bed was made but the bedding not changed, even with blood on the sheet and pillow. When I complained the young man on duty did the change himself. The bed blocked the door closing so you have to move the bedding to close the door In the shower ,you were in touch with the shower curtain or the walls, and I am average size. The location was great with supermarket,bars and restaurants and transport, close by

Cheap price for a short stay
I think it's OK for a short trip about 2-3 days if you just need a place to sleep. The staffs were not very professional but they did their job. Hotel quality is very bad. Rooms are very small, just enough for 1 single bed and there was even not enough space to open the door without ranging chairs or stuffs. No elevator and the stair was very old. You can even hear the noise when someone walks or talks.

Good location and the bed was clean. Luckily I didn't notice the mold in the bathroom until the morning as I left. Hotel staff were probably the rudest I have ever experienced in my life. One word answers and complete lack of interest in any questions or confirmations I had. Never again, I stayed at a hostel for my second evening and felt much more welcomed and comfortable.
