Great location, spacious apartment but...

We stayed for 2 weeks. The apartment is in a nice location. Close to the metro, lively, walkable to Jardin des plants, and the city center. In general, the place is charming and spacious. The kitchen utensils are in great condition. This place is a duplex. There are two showers and one toilet on the lower floor. It's quite inconvenient to walk downstair from the master bedroom to use the toilet at night but we got used to the stairs in the 2nd week. However, we had some issues during our stay. First, there were ants on the floor when we checked in. We bought some bug spray to use but it didn't really work. Another issue was that the neighbor left notes (twice!) on our door complaining and demanding us not to use the A/C in the evening because it caused a lot of noise to his bedroom and he couldn't sleep. We reached out to the agency to help us with the issue because we didn't want to have any interaction to the neighbor about this nor we would stop using the A/C. It's June in Toulouse and it's really hot. The main reason we booked this place because we wanted to use the A/C. There was only one A/C in the master bedroom and it caused problem with the neighbor. The A/C itself was quite noisy to us when we turned on "cool" mode. We didn't stop using the A/C completely but we tried to minimize it at night. We didn't feel completely happy about this at all. We asked the agency to get back to us but they didn't respond to us at all about this. At least they should've responded :(

Le Broadway "Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans cet appartement. La personne qui m’a remis les clés était très sympathique ! L’appartement est situé dans un quartier pas loin du centre, et plutôt sympa. Petit bémol cependant : il y a actuellement des travaux pas loin de l’appartement que vous pourrez percevoir de façon plus ou moins lointaine, des tôt le matin. Le reste du voisinage était très très calme. Aussi, en cas de très forte chaleur, il y a bien une climatisation à l’étage mais très bruyante. Sinon l’appartement était très bien, et très bien équipé. J’ai néanmoins été un peu surprise de recevoir un mail avec l’instruction de sortir les poubelles avant de partir alors que nous avions payé les frais de ménage. Malgré ces petits points d’attention, le séjour a été très réussi et je recommande cette location."

It was beautifully decorated and cozy with heaters on the main floor in all rooms but not in the upper bedroom. They received me with a very nice bag of local food goodies it was a very nice touch."

Le Broadway "Alojamiento centrico y comodo pero con limpieza deficiente que no se aprecia en las fotos. 🙂 La ubicación es perfecta para visitar Toulouse pero en la actualidad y previsiblemente para un tiempo largo, la zona se encuentra en obras y el tanto el acceso como el ruido de las inmediaciones es un inconveniente. Las camas son cómodas y tiene lo necesario para 2-3 personas. 🙁 El anfitrión se comprometió a entregar las llaves antes del horario establecido ya que lo habíamos solicitado previamente, pero después nos fue dando largas hasta llegar a la hora que indicaron en el momento de hacer la reserva. Estuvimos 5 horas con las maletas dando vueltas. Igualmente, el alojamiento tiene 2 camas y un sofá convertible en cama, pese a haberlo indicado varias veces vía mail que necesitábamos un juego de cama para el sofá-cama, al llegar no se encontraba, la persona que nos entregó las llaves nos indico que a lo largo de la tarde pasarían a dejarlo, pero eso no sucedió jamás. Tampoco supo indicarnos como funcionaba el televisor ya que tenía un dispositivo tipo Chrome Cast; y las prisas de esta persona y el desinterés hicieron una mala experiencia para poder utilizar la tv. Con respecto a la limpieza; la casa tenía polvo por todas las estancias, a unos niveles importantes que si se padece asma o alegia, hace la estancia prácticamente imposble, a lo que se le suma que las ventanas no se pueden abrir. En una de las 2 duchas había pelos largos. Limpieza muy deficiente."

Es wäre besser gleich darauf hinzuweisen, damit nicht der Kunde Kontakt aufnehmen muss um zu beweisen, dass das bei Ankunft schon so war -das Treppenhaus ist sehr schief- es wäre gut, darauf hinzuweisen!"

There are two bakeries near for breakfast, other restaurants/stores for a quick bite and a pharmacy right across. We really had a wonderful time in the house!! Thank you! There are two flights of stairs to the apartment, so be careful bring up your luggage!"

Le Broadway "Nous avions réservé ce logement en mettant 2 filtres "" annulable "" et "" climatisation "" , sachant qu'en été il peut faire très chaud à Toulouse, la climatisation était donc très importante pour nous et nous avons sélectionné ce logement parce qu'il en était équipé . Quand nous sommes arrivés nous avons immédiatement signalé à la personne qui nous a accueilli qu'il y avait un problème avec cet équipement ( la clim était présente uniquement dans la chambre à l'étage) , cette personne était "" juste là pour nous ouvrir"" il fallait contacter un responsable. Ce qu'on a fait , d'autant que le climatiseur faisait un bruit incroyable, on a l'impression de dormir avec un moteur d'avion allumé toute la nuit. Pour réponse nous avons eu un message nous disant que sur airbnb ils pouvaient juste cocher si il y avait ou non la clim et qu'ils le mettraient dans les commentaires pour les prochains voyageurs. En plus le bruit du compresseur gêne les voisins qui nous l'ont fait savoir."

Le Broadway "I stayed at this beautiful apartment with my mum and sister. The apartment looks exactly like the photos and is beautiful. The location couldn’t have been better with everything easily walkable. Despite the apartment being on a fairly busy road, once inside it was very quiet and peaceful. Some things that could really make this place incredible: - Fixing some broken items (loo roll holder and towel hook in upstairs shower room). - Keyless entry would be a bonus as our flight was delayed and it was tricky to keep the agency staff updated with our arrival time. - And there also wasn’t a wine bottle corkscrew opener. We had to ask a neighbour! But overall it was a lovely place to stay, clean, modern and in the perfect spot."
