"Everything was wonderful, especially relaxing out on the deck enjoying the beautiful San Juan mountain range. We had our dog so we made sure we cleaned up upon departure including shaking out the rug, vacuuming and cleaning the home all around. "Cute cottage with awesome views of the San Juan Mountains—uncompahgre peak, Sneffels, etc. Eight horses, ducks, goats, a pig in the petting zoo. Host Diana was a delight to work with. We knew the location so brought food rather than drive into Montrose or Ridgway for meals. Hope to get back for a Fall leaf season visit in Ouray County."

"We had a great experience at the Elk Meadows property over New Years. The house is very well done with the kind of high end custom finishes you don't expect from a vacation rental. "I was stuck in Montrose for the night because of United Airlines. The airport was completely closed by 230pm. So i was not having a good day. I was greeted by Clinton and Monty (adorable Yorkie) at the front desk. Clinton was very nice and helpful. Checked the room to make sure it was cleaned. The rooms are nice! Looks like they have been updated with tile floors, paint and some of the furniture. The bathroom looked updated. Even tho it is on the street they have a quaint outside fenced area...
