Very quiet location, the silence outside at night is perfect. Good value for the money, either restaurant, drinks, and rooms. Decent breakfast, not fancy, but good German bread, rolls, and boiled eggs.
This place is much bigger than it appears from outside. I look forward to returning soon.
The area is very picturesque. We loved hearing the church bells chime the time every quarter-hour. From our hotel window we saw fruit trees, vegetable gardens and lovely hillsides. The hotel food and wait staff were fabulous! As we are traveling all about Germany, this is the Germany we love the best!

Well worth the small diversion from the A61 autobahn. Really nice, friendly owners and Staff and this time I took advantage of a walk around the well signposted trails. Very comfortable and Schweinshaxe is still the best I've tasted...
A really nice place in small village in a little valley with vines growing on the slopes. I had to work so didn't go on the many cycle rides or walks recommended in the room's guide. This was a two night stay returning to Calais and England from the main holiday in OberBayern and I'll break my journey like this again and definitely consider this particular hotel! Especially for the Food - best Schweinshaxe I can remember
