Take advantage of the awesome sunsets from the large windows in the cottage, the new deck or the new dock. Enjoy the abundant wildlife that you may see on the road or across the street in the township park. Chandler Lake is a great little lake without a lot of boat traffic. Excellent fishing for large mouth bass, blue gill, sunfish and pike. Great lake for kayaking, floating on rafts, paddle boarding, hanging out on the sand bar. Enjoy the lake by kayak (2 included in rental) or rent our pontoon boat for your cruising pleasure. For more information on the pontoon rental, please ask the host/property manager.
We've truly spent the extra time to create a great vacation get away - from the canoe paddle bed to the pendant lights made from reclaimed minnow buckets. The furnishings of the cottage will make you smile as soon as you walk in the door. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you'll need for cooking meals - if you so desire. Comfortable beds - with new memory foam mattresses - will be waiting for you after your day on the lake or your day of exploring the beautiful Traverse City area. There is also a brand new mattress for the sofa bed in the living room. A new hot water heater and water softener will love add to the pleasure of your stay. The updates and attention to detail will ensure that your have a great stay and make you want to return year after year!
Among the many great things this property has to offer is the wide lot providing extra privacy for you to enjoy the peaceful lake and neighborhood. Directly across the quiet road is an 80 acre park with walking & biking trails, pavilion, small playground and restroom. A little further down the road is Grace McDonald Park with tennis courts/pickle ball courts, basketball, large playground, baseball diamond, expansive trails, grills and picnic tables.
If you'd like to travel with your fur baby - we have recently become pet friendly. For an additional pet fee, you are able to bring one 50-pound or less dog. Please be sure to select "traveling with pets" to ensure the pet fee is added to your reservation.
