Lovely In-Town Leland! Walk to Beach & Town Good for Groups!
So grateful to have received so many lovely 5 STAR reviews this year:“House is great. A fantastic location in Leland. We walked downtown to dinner every night. The beach is on the way, so we stopped for the sunset. The house is very clean and well stocked. Beds are comfortable. We couldn't have asked for anything else. Melissa is super helpful with information about the area in advance and sends prompt emails with everything about check-in and leaving. We would love to stay here again”
There’s so much to do up north! I’ll send our favorite hiking and biking trails, wineries, breweries and best local restaurants.
Walk to Lake Michigan and the center of Leland from The Bluestone Cottage in Leland. Guests love the quaint town with Historic Fishtown, cute shops and cafes. The house offers 5 Bedrooms (King, 2 Queens, 4 Twins, plus pull-out) and 3 bathrooms plus an open concept living and dining room which opens to a quiet back deck and shade garden.
Hike nearby Clay Cliffs for stunning views. Visit 45 North and taste their Award-winning whites and play bocce. Taste Tandem Ciders by the firepit, or enjoy lake views at the Boathouse Vineyard on their heated porch!
You'll love the decor, the bedroom layout (good for multiple families/couples), the back deck for grilling, and the front porch for morning coffee. Amenities include Central A/C, cable tv, wifi, charcoal grill and games for the whole family.
We are right on the wine trail, as described in Travel & Leisure, Leelanau, “best known for cherries, sprawling sand dunes, massive blue lakes, and bucolic scenery may just be America’s next great wine touring region”.
We take cleaning seriously at the Bluestone.
We are open all year round for wine tasting, biking, shopping or golf weekends.
Come enjoy early spring in Leelanau County including hiking the Leelanau Conservancy Trails, biking on the TART trails, reading by the fire in the Master bedroom, walking the beach searching for Petoskey stones, and visiting the cider houses and wineries. We are open for hiking, biking and wine tasting weekends.
All the wineries are open and have roaring fireplaces, fire pits, heated porches and igloos to welcome you in. Our gas fireplace in the Primary Bedroom is a cozy place to spend lazy mornings.
Plan now for Winter and Spring 2024! Wineries are open with new heated outdoor spaces! Hiking is gorgeous; wildflowers are blooming. Fall is the season for cider houses! Ask me about igloos, ice shanties and other outdoor tasting options. I can help arrange wine tasting tours.
Near trails for hiking, biking (check out the mountain bike trails at 45 North), and wine tasting. Check out the fire pits at Farm Club for microbrew and local eats. Reserve an igloo at Hop Lot and try the BBQ and s'mores for the kids. I’ll send you lists of wineries and cider houses with fireplaces and walking trails.
The Bluestone cottage, with all stylish interiors, has plenty of room for 10-12 people, and the layout works well for multiple families. 5 Bedrooms (King, 2 Queen, 4 Twins, pull-out), 3 Full Baths, open Living/Dining room, front porch and back deck for grilling. Guests love our well-designed interiors and luxury linens!
