The Sylvan Inn was the perfect base for our exploration of the Sleeping Bear National Lakeshore. Our room was clean and comfortable, and we enjoyed the breakfast provided by the friendly staff. The Inn’s location is also very convenient for walking into Glen Arbor to enjoy the galleries and restaurants. We hope to return again!

Beck is an amazing innkeeper and shared great knowledge of the area for sights, trails, and shopping. She was accommodating of my schedule as I was competing in a sailing event over the weekend that had me leaving the property early each day.

I highly recommend this bed-and-breakfast! It is amazingly clean and the staff is great! Breakfast is on point every day and it is located right at the perfect part of the town where you can enjoy peace and quiet, but still walk where you need to go. Walking distance to the beach and all the downtown shopping but the wraparound porch allows. You to have quiet time when you want it. I highly recommend this place.!!! This is now my fifth year staying there and I love it.
