Took a trip here with our teenager. It was a great time. We relaxed but there was plenty of opportunities for activities. Food was as good as it can be on an island. Staff was incredible. Felt a little sad leaving them all.

We had a nice time at Treasure with the family (2 teenage kids). The staff were so friendly and beautiful. Snorkelling equipment needs to be upgraded. Everything happened in Fiji time. Nice and relaxing. Thank you Treasure Island!!

Overall resort is rundown and in need of refurbishing. Restaurant food was overpriced and sub par. Cocktails lacked alcohol and were made with low grade mixers. Rooms were clean and spacious. Beach was clean.

Fantastic friendly staff. Beautiful location. No snorkel gear available for use on arrival, and when some became available the masks were cracked. Two kayaks to share for the whole resort, and no booking system. One kayak had a hole in it. Would benefit from renovation of public areas and leisure equipment.

This resort has great snorkeling convenience no need for boat to transfer just basically walk from the beach. Very kid friendly as the waters were really shallow. Downside was the slow and sometimes no service from staff, food selection/cost/quality and constantly chasing staff when something is needed as they constantly either forget or ignore request. Family of 4 and we did not have enough towels for the entire trip to either shower or swim, they kept saying they didn't have towels for everyone staying at resort.

Had an amazing time at Nakelo Treasure island resort! I cannot fault the hospitality of the staff, they truely make the place what it is . They instantly make you feel welcomed home and go out of their way to help you. The rooms are beautifully located on the beachfront , clean and tidy, daily housekeeping and comfortable beds. I will say that you can tell the place is slightly run down and the price seems too expensive for what you get. The food is a bit hit or miss. The curries were delicious, however most nights there were buffets which was quite expensive per person for an average buffet and you cannot order from the main menu on those nights. I would recommend bringing as many snacks / drinks that you can from the mainland to avoid the high food costs from the restaurant during the day. If you are looking for a relaxing , quiet , simple resort this is perfect for you! I would definitely go back again Thank you again for our stay I had a lovely time !!

The island is a complete escape from real life. It’s an older resort that shows the years of fun families have had there so don’t expect a flashy resort. It’s been maintained well and the staff are more than willing to assist with anything you need. The snorkelling is incredible. The entire island is surrounded by coral reefs with crystal clear water. Kids club was great. Liz and Henry made a lasting impression on my kids. So much so that they would like to return next year. The food is good, variety of buffet dinners and menu that changes daily. Highly recommend booking the teppanyaki as soon as you arrive as it was delicious. Will definitely consider a return to treasure island.

Treasure island is a spectacular place- the snorkelling is sublime, super easy with a family who can swim, and caters for little ones on the shore too. The sunsets are stunning, and the pool deck is a great place if the wind picks up and snorkeling isn’t an option. Where it fell short was lack of maintenance (broken glass sliding doors, lack of snorkelling gear or gear that doesn’t work, no kayaks, no jet skis, inconsistencies with food or lack of food, and the smell of the incinerator really took its toll after a number of days. They could use some new tennis rackets too. The staff are amazing though- always friendly and smiling, and we did enjoy our time. The lack of food/coffee bacon/beef/mozerella and lack of running water of times was what let it down.

Sadly this beautiful island and wonderful staff have become victims of hierarchy neglect! Where clearly any money does not go back into the property, which is a real shame as could be a magical place. Loved the turtle nursery, large rooms and views... but the lack of supplies, cost of essentials, run down facilities and bed bugs became the unfortunate memory makers in our group 😪

This review is directed at the owners, nky the staff The stay here was an absolute disaster. Decided to book only on yhe fact there was a so called renovation during covid Within 5 miniutea of landing on the island it was clear the place was running on the smell of an oily rag. Everything was old and needing repair We had no running water for 2 days. Couldnt flush the toilet or shower. The food was extremly overpriced charging $79 for a buffett which was extremely basic The breakfast buffett had nothing but cornflakes None of the water activites were functional If you do book here for the location. Id suggest bringing all your own food and treat it as a camping adventure
