At high tide, coarse-grained sandy areas are exposed, then bathing and water sports are the order of the day. At low tide, the sea retreats and you can look for shells and catch crabs. The seaside resort of Trebeurden marks the beginning or end of the famous pink granite coast, the Côte de Granit Rose, and is popular for its fine sandy beaches. Small sandy bays between craggy rocky outcrops are typical of this coastal region. The colourful weekly market in the village attracts visitors every Tuesday with regional specialities. Sports enthusiasts can learn sailing, surfing and diving at the respective schools in Trebeurden. Those who prefer more tranquillity might like to discover the offshore island of Milliau (accessible on foot at low tide) or the bird sanctuary on Ile Grande (10 km) with a local guide. Follow the coastal road to the most famous seaside resort of the Pink Granite Coast, Perros-Guirec, or to the impressive rock formations in Ploumanac'h. Very close to the holiday home is the 22 ha nature park of the Marais of Springs, which you can explore on designated hiking trails.
