"When we checked in our AC was broken and making noises so loud we had to change rooms. When we did the new room we had was with a door that had to be shoved open and the shower didn’t work properly for temperature. Staff was nice but during breakfast weren’t sure about allergy options and didn’t have anyone who spoke English who was able to help which made it difficult to take advantage of that opportunity."

"Everything is run down but it has so much potential! The river walk right by it was delightful. Inside, the toilet paper holder had come off the wall so the tp was just on the back of the toilet. No tissues. No cups. No working ice makers. Lots of space in the room, so a chair would have been nice. A suitcase holder would also be helpful. The desk clerk said they are doing some renovating, which we saw no sign of, but if they do we would love to come back."

"This hotel was dirty. I ended up checking out once I saw my room. Stained linens on the beds, trash and dirt on the floor, and rotting bathtub are unacceptable hospitality standards."

"I am a long-time Hilton Honors member and have typically not experienced anything to complain about. However, my experience with TRU by Hilton in Lehi was not what I would expect of the Hilton brand. I understand that TRU is a lower priced option among the Hilton brand hotels, but I still would have expected more than the experience we had. While the staff were friendly and professional, when we called to get some assistance with the in-room fridge, we were told by the front desk associate to just wait two hours and see if it was working. I understand he may have been busy at the time but I don't think it's unreasonable to say that in a half hour either he or one of the staff will come by to look at the fridge. I was able to fiddle with the fridge myself and got it to work by jiggling the cord a little. I was not happy with the lack of customer-service demonstrated by the hotel staff associate. I also want to make you aware of how unsafe the shower was in our room. It is a walk in shower and I nearly slipped and fell back when entering the shower. Since there are no treads or other materials to make the shower floor a little less slick, all of us had to hold on to the rails and slowly move to avoid slipping and sliding on to the floor. Please do something to address this safety issue. Generally speaking, our stay was fine but the front desk associate and unsafe shower leads me to question ever staying at another TRU hotel in the future"

"It was awful! The staff was rude and unhelpful. The room was dirty. The bed and pillows looked as if someone had been sleeping there and the cleaners had just pulled the covers up not even neatly. There was no hand soap. There was one little wash rag. The toilet paper only had 1/4 of a roll. Left the carpet was stained and greasy looking. There was unfinished little kitchenette with a big hole where there may have been a fridge all in all if there was a zero, I’d give it a zero."
