Nice safe friendly place

Lovely safe place in french village, lovely hat Marie Take a translator! Village bar pricey, 2 pint, 2 medium wines 43 euro ! Safe location ideal for D-DAY related stuff just mile from Juno beach

Not for Us

Pleasant welcome for a 4 night stay Stairs to our room a little difficult, narrow and steep .Our room was very clean . No TV and the wifi very intermittent . There was a kettle but no milk and only 2 teabags & 2 coffee sachets- they don't actually provide these and so out we went shopping! Eating your own food is not allowed in your room .The village , only has one expensive restaurant and a pizza place, other eateries are miles away.Bayeux is 17km away. Whilst there was a soap dish - there was no soap in the bathroom , More shopping! Nor was there a mirror in the bedroom You can hear every foot step in the house Carpets would help , but instead there is only bare floor boards . Basically when one person is awake - we were ALL awake Breakfast( with a sign to guests not to take anything away), was adequate but very basic- a cold buffet,(we noticed there were hard boiled eggs the first morning but non the following)- plus only one croissant per person . Coffee, self served from one pot , instead of at individual tables, was luke warm , even though it had just appeared and it was of poor quality - tasted like instant powdered coffee, not ground. The cups were plastic! The hosts do not make your bed or empty your BIN until day5 ! ( A Travelodge or the Hotel B&B gives you better service) Sorry we would not return , nor would we recommend- in fact we left early - 2nights early !

We stayed for a couple of nights, quiet with grounds to sit in and an excellent breakfast. The town is only 5 minutes walk and has a good restaurant. We would stay here again.

Normandy/Bayeau Convenience

Family run. More a B&B than a hotel. Nice room and bath Grounds lovely. Quite in a small village. Dining limited in the village. There are some stairs up one floor but my wife who uses a cane had no problem. Owner was happy to help with the luggage. He also was very helpful on local sites, directions and dining. Breakfast was very nice. Well suited for Normandy sites. Highly recommend. Thank you for our lovely 4 night stay.

Belles prestations au calme

Très belle propriété tout près des plages du débarquement, où nous avions réservé une grande chambre très confortable avec une excellente literie. Petits déjeuners copieux sous la forme d'un buffet. Hôtesse attentionnée.

Good location.

Very nice property in central town location. Refurbishment was typically French, not very well finished. No heating, even though it was 14°outside. Enjoyed the time spent in the area, but would look elsewhere for accommodation next time.

Fantastisk dejlig stille sted. Et par spisesteder i gåafstand. Dejlig morgenmad på stedet og dejlig værelse. Stedet ligger lige i centrum for diverse mindesmærker fra krigen.
