Charming hotel with perfect location

The hotel is quaint and charming. It is literally around the corner from the Porta Nigra, which is the entrance into the historic district of Trier.

Gepflegtes Hotel in der unmittelbaren Nähe der Porta Nigra. Da es in einer Seitenstraße liegt, hört man vom Strassenlärm der Hauptstraße nichts. Nettes und hilfsbereites Personal. Kommen sehr gerne wieder.

Die Lage ist ausgesprochen gut (150 m von der Porta Ngra). Vom Zustand und kommt vorher es ist ein normales drei Sterne Hotel Garni. Das Personal war sehr nett. Leider hatte ich kein Glück mit meinem Zimmer. Ich hatte beim einchecken ein ruhiges Zimmer bestellt und habe eines zur Straße raus bekommen. Da es eine Nebenstraße ist, war das für mich auch kein Problem. Dieses stellte sich erst nachts ein. Ab und zu ein Rennfahrer mit getunten Autos und Ausfahren der Umdrehungszahlen. Nette Heimkehrer aus der Stadt mit guter Laune und lautstarken Kommentaren oder lachen oder schreien - es war alles dabei! Irgendwann nach 3 Uhr bin ich eingeschlafen. Leider war es ab 7:00 Uhr schon wieder laut. Also war die Nacht vorbei. Das Frühstück war dann ganz okay, abgesehen vom Dosenobst.

A must stay

The stay was wonderful considering the world today with COVID. All of the appropriate measures were taken for social distancing. The breakfast was great, the room was comfortable and the staff were quite pleasant.

The staff are really friendly and helpful. When I am again in Trier, I will stay there again. The hotel is in a great location, very near the Porta Norge and the Hauptmarket.

Ein Wochenende in Trier, das Spaß gemacht hat. Man kann eigentlich alle Sehenswürdigkeiten zu Fuß erreichen.

Direkt an der City in kleiner Seitenstraße

Die Zufahrt von der Straße zum Parkplatz ist abenteuerlich, aber die Lage direkt an der Porta-Nigra toll. Sehr freundliche Leute dort. Zimmer nach hinten raus sind wahrscheinlich leiser, da Studenten lange in der Nähe feierten und morgens die Müllabfuhr den Rekord in Laustärke brechen wollte.

Dejligt hotel tæt på den centrale bydel i Trier.

Byen Trier er meget charmerende med en smuk gammel bydel, som bestemt er et besøg værd. Byen r ikke større end man kan gå rundt til diverse seværdigheder.

This is Not a 4+ rating hotel.

The room was very dirty. There was long hair on one of our pillows and the bathroom was definitely not cleaned after the last quests left. There was hair in the sink, in the shower and on the bathroom floor. The positives were that the hotel staff were very pleasant, the location is good and the breakfast was fairly good.

Great short stopover in Trier

I selected this for its location, and it's perfect for walking to the Porte Nigra and the rest of the old city. The hotel itself was also a pleasant surprise, with clean comfortable rooms and a nice breakfast to send us on our way in the morning.

Zentrales Hotel in ruhiger Lage

Wir waren zwei Tage in Trier. Trier ist eine schöne Stadt. Das Hotel liegt ruhig und sehr zentral. Das Frühstückzimmer ist etwas klein aber schön hell. Auf dem Frühstückbuffett war alles vorhanden, sogar Sekt und man konnte frisch gebrühten Kaffee oder Cappuccino usw.vom Automat haben. Personal ist sehr freundlich. Das Bad ist modern. Die Betten sind gut.. Die Zimmer sind allerdings etwas klein, aber sauber, für einen Kurzaufenthalt ausreichend. Wir hatten eine Führung (Schauspiel) mit dem Römer durch die Porta Nigra, war lustig und lehrreich.

Goede prijs/kwaliteit op top locatie

Wifi was in het bijgebouw minder helaas, ook vond ik de kamers gehorig. Voor de rest een prima verblijf met vriendelijke mensen en goed ontbijt. Hotel op een steenworp van de Porta Nigra en daardoor heel aantrekkelijk gelegen. Hotel heeft een eigen ondergrondse parkeergarage met voldoende plek.
