The apartment welcomes guests into a spacious and harmonious environment, well suited to couples, small families or travellers exploring Trieste. The living room is bright and comfortable, tastefully furnished, equipped with sofa bed and perfect for relaxing after a day spent visiting museums, strolling along the waterfront or enjoying the city’s historic cafés.
The kitchen is separate, large and fully equipped, making it suitable also for longer stays. It is a pleasant and functional space, fitted with a ceiling fan, which helps keep it comfortable during the warmer months.
🛏️ Sleeping area
The master bedroom is spacious, quiet and particularly well suited for a restful night’s sleep. As it does not face directly onto the outside, it is especially peaceful, making it ideal for guests seeking deep rest even in the heart of the city.
The room is well lit and ventilated and is the only room equipped with air conditioning.
There is also a second single bedroom with bunk beds, suitable for a third guest or for children.

The location is one of the apartment’s main strengths.
It is situated in central Trieste, just a short walk from the Revoltella Museum, the Rive waterfront and the seafront, and about 5 minutes on foot from Piazza Unità d’Italia.
In the immediate surroundings you will find restaurants, traditional trattorias, historic cafés, bookshops, shops and public transport. It is an ideal solution for guests looking for an apartment in the centre of Trieste and wishing to explore the city comfortably on foot.
🚗 Parking and how to get there
The apartment is located in a central area, not within a restricted traffic zone (ZTL), but close to some pedestrian areas.
At approximately 350 metres there is the Garage San Vito car park, a convenient covered parking facility; advance booking is recommended, especially during busy periods.
Public street parking is also available in the nearby streets, subject to availability.
Guests arriving by train can reach the apartment easily by public transport: bus number 30 departs from the main railway station and stops just a short walk from the building entrance. Taxis are also available and take only a few minutes.

Thanks to the presence of the lift, access to the third floor is easy even with luggage.
⛴️ Sea connections
The Maritime Station on Molo dei Bersaglieri is very close by. From here, regular ferry services depart to Muggia, Sistiana and Miramare, offering a scenic and enjoyable way to explore the area from the sea.
The same pier also welcomes numerous cruise ships, contributing to the lively atmosphere of the area and providing excellent connections along the main routes of the Northern Adriatic.
🏛️ A small note for lovers of historic details
The apartment is located within Casa Basevi, one of the most interesting and early examples of Liberty (Art Nouveau) architecture in Trieste. Built in 1892 and designed by engineer Eugenio Geiringer, the building is protected by the Fine Arts Authority and is often featured in architectural guides for its rich decorative elements, wrought-iron balconies and elegant entrance portal. A small but meaningful glimpse into Trieste’s refined and cosmopolitan past.
