Nur drei Blocks von der Uferstraße/promenade und zwei Gehminuten von der Piazza l'unita d'Italia entfernt, befindet sich das Hotel in der ersten Etage eines Altstadthauses. Die Flure und Zimmer sind schön eingerichtet. Der Kartenschließmechanismus an den Zimmertütren ist allerdings etwas erklärungsbedürftig bzw. besser sich zeigen als erklären lassen.

In my opinion this was not at all what was advertised. Small, small room. Just a fan. No way to make coffee or tea. Most uncomfortable beds ever. Room not very clean.

Struttura suggestiva situata in zona centralissima a Trieste (situata a pochi passi da piazza Unità D’Italia). La stanza non ha presentato disagi a livello di Comfort. Personale cordiale, disponibile e simpatico. Luogo consigliato per chi come me si accontenta del minimo ed indispensabile come: pulizia generale, wc perfettamente funzionante, tv e wii fii. Je connais cet hotel, j'y ai déjà séjourné plusieurs fois C'est un ancien palais converti en hotel, tout sombre et le décor est prétentieux Une réceptionniste illumine cette obscurité de son sourire, c'est Janet, mais hélas, elle n'était pas de service pendant mon séjour; J'ai eu affaire à Maria pour la seconde fois et son accueil a été glacial comme la dernière fois; Je pourrai meme dire qu'elle a été méchante, elle n'aime pas son travail et surtout elle n'aime pas les clients non européens, ce qui est un comble vu qu'un hotel devrait etre ouvert à tous, sinon il tomberait en faillite Cependant, j'ai vu Janet dimanche soir et l'atmosphère a changé du tout au tout, c'est le rayon de soleil L' hotel est bien situé dans la belle vile de Trieste

hostel in triest which is not too expensive. Strange place. A lot of thing everywhere. Walls and furnitures are painted with "gothic" and "renaissance" style. You can find that funny or awful. Except that, this hostel is correct to sleep during a few nights

Meraviglioso Hotel situato nel cuore della vecchia Trieste, la zona più bella e particolare della città. La stanza era di classe, ben arredata e molto pulita, il letto era comodissimo. Il personale che ho trovato era disponibile e gentile, il prezzo molto buono ed economico rispetto alla qualità superiore dell'Hotel. Una bella esperienza.

La posizione in pieno centro è ottima ma purtroppo ciò rende la stanza parecchio rumorosa. Il personale si è mostrato semprre estremamente gentile e disponibile. La stanza necessità di ammodernamento, ma nel complesso è carina e abbastanza confortevole

No heat in the rooms when it was freezing outside.
They turn off the heat at night, so no heat in the room no matter how cold it is outside. Trieste is freezing in January, especially when the "Bora" is blowing, so I had to sleep in a coat and gloves. The rooms are old and dirty. At least there was hot water. Would never stay here again, even though it was reasonably priced.

寝るだけの宿かなと
残念ながら快適とは言えませんでした。部屋はとっても狭くて傾いていました。共有スペースであるバスルームは、あまり良い状態とは言えませんでした。エレベーターがなかったのも、重いスーツケースを抱えた私にとってはとても辛かったです。

Very pleasant and close to the facilities. Pauli at the porta cabana bar was a great host.

Excellent location
Chose this hotel to stay in because of the location. It was ideal for most of the sights. Main Square was a five minute wak and there were loads of restaurants and bars nearby. Only drawback was the 15 minute walk to the Railway Station but taxis are good value ln Italy if you have a heavy suitcase. Would use again

In settembre per motivi di lavoro ,ho prenotato una singola (online quindi risparmiando molto) ho scelto questo hotel per la sua posizione:centralissima, ed in virtù di questo il rumore del traffico se si tengono le finestre della camera aperte,è molto fastidioso,anche troppo.Credo che l'hotel abbia anche delle stanze interne ma poco si può scegliere attraverso una prenotazione online.Tenendo le finestre chiuse il caldo in camera era tanto, la ragazza del personale è stata molto gentile nell'offrirmi, su mia richiesta e gratuitamente,un ventilatore che ha alleviato di molto la sensazione di calore. In camera,PULITA e decorosa con mobili in stile appropriati e nuovi,era presente un piccolo lavabo,un televisore e un piccolo frigo;il materasso nuovo e comodo (per me troppo ortopedico) e la biancheria pulita.Il bagno non era in camera ma "attaccato" alla stanza ed era privato.Le pulizie sono state effettuate tutti i giorni(3) della mia permanenza così come è stato rifatto il letto. Mi sentirei di consigliare questo hotel a tutti i viaggiatori, è una soluzione economica (se fatta online) e comoda (se per brevi soggiorni). Pierluigi Manieri

Super Lage - man muss jedoch das städtische Treiben mögen, wenn man bei offenem Fenster schlafen möchte! In allem ein "witziges" Hotel, schade, dass es in der Atmosphäre kein Frühstück gibt; es ist aber auch nicht schlimm, denn wie gesagt: Bäcker, alter Stadtkern und Adria vor der Haustür!!

A place to sleep
Low cost hotel with very basic offering. No air-conditioning. Wifi did not work although did not report it as the staff is present only for a limited time during the day. Comfortable bed and a good shower.

Camera nella dependance
L'hotel è in un palazzo nella zona storica di Trieste. Appena arrivato, la ragazza alla reception mi dice che ha camere libere solo nella "dépendance", ovvero in un appartamento in Via San Michele, lontano qualche metro e più in alto. La ragazza mi ha accompagnato lì e ha preparato al momento la camera sistemando il letto, dandomi gli asciugamani puliti e i prodotti da bagno. La ragazza era la sola persona che lavorava in tutto l'albergo e questo spiega un po' il motivo di aver pagato un prezzo molto basso. La scelta della dependance è stata una scelta più decentrata ma senz'altro più silenziosa dato che c'ero soltanto io e una coppia in un'altra camera.E poi c'erano due o tre camere libere, con la porta aperta. Il bagno è in comune ed è senza finestre, provvisto dei più comuni confort. La camera è ristrutturata anche se piuttosto spartana. Non c'erano sedie né mensole. In camera comunque c'era un mini lavandino comodo quando il bagno in comune era occupato. Una cosa che mi ha "stupito" è che si usa la stessa chiave sia per entrare nella dependance che nella mia camera.

Zentrale Lage in der Altstadt - sowohl mit Bus als auch zu Fuß gut erreichbar. Kommunikation schwierig, da eine der Angestellten kein Wort Englisch spricht. Geruch im Bad nach Chlor bzw. Kanal. Hellhörig und durch die Lage in der Altstadt besonders am Wochenende recht laut. Vorhänge wären nett ... der Schein der Straßenlaterne fiel genau auf meinen Kopfpolster. Zum Schlafen sind die Zimmer ausreichend - und mehr Zeit verbring ich im Urlaub eh nicht im Zimmer. Preis-Leistung-Verhältnis ok.

This hotel is typical of a big city Italian hotel of moderate price. Be prepared to climb stairs, walk down dimly lit hallways and exist in a small room with somewhat uncomfortable beds and a tiny bathroom. But the room is clean, the staff when available helpful, and it serves as a good base of operations if you use a room mainly to sleep. Noise level can be high during lae hourswith people talking outside but not car truck traffic

In the centre of the best restaurants!
Great place. Receptionist was the best. Booked two nights ended up staying for four nights.

Cheap and central.
If you're looking for a bargain in the centre of Trieste, this is it. Great location, great value - and certainly unique decor. Friendly staff. No breakfast, uncomfy bed and thin towels - so if you're looking for something more luxurious, this isn't it. But thank God it exists.

non lo consiglio a chi ama il profumo di pulito! lenzuola con macchie, muri con aloni, il bidet non aveva senso perché una persona non ci sta. Muri sottili che si sentivano tutti i discorsi dei vicini di stanza.Receptionist gentile (unica nota positiva).

Cheap price, but no worth to go. Position is very good, very central, but without air-condition and it's not possible to sleep until morning, at least during weekend. I would not go back.

Hotel singolare ma caratteristico, posto in ottima posizione e dall'ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo. Un po' chiassosa la mia camera per via della poca insonorizzazione, e della vicinanza con bar sull'esterno. Comunque consigliato e valido soprattutto per posizione e prezzo. Un po' scomodo trovare parcheggio, ma a Trieste è molto spesso così, soprattutto nel centro.

Historic place; right for the money.
No luxuries whatsoever. Cave-like as it was built in 1800. Towels and linens changed after three nights and beds not made. Sir conditioning not working so she brought in an electric fan, but I would do it again. If you're into history, don't mind roughing it a bit, and are on a budget- go for it !!!
