Absolutely wonderful stay. It felt so homey and quiet. Layout of the home was very intimate with all sorts of interesting areas yet open with great architecture. The artwork around the house is exquisite. Landscaping in the redwood forest is a great detail. Convenient to groceries, freeway and parks but feels like it’s miles away. No complaints! Thanks for letting us stay here.

Magical Stay in Trinidad

Perfect getaway!

We had a wonderful time at the house! Kids loved feeding the fishes and occasional visit from neighbor's cat that we named Ginger. Loved the trails around the property and everything about the house, and the area.

Absolutely Fabulous!!! A Healing Retreat

Such a beautiful home and property! “Serene” is an understatement… every little detail everywhere is just amazing. It was very comfortable and easy to feel at home. I was hoping they may like to adopt an adult child because I didn’t want to leave!!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our stay was from 07-31-23 to 07-31-23. The home was beautiful, exceptionally clean and very comfortable. The outside was beautifully landscaped, the trails were well marked and easy to walk. The hot was very relaxing after a day out enjoying the area. The beds were comfortable and relaxing. We enjoyed the home so much that we requested to stay an additional night. We had a small problem with the TV, we informed the property manager, and he came right over to correct the problem. We will most definitely stay at Ravan Ridge Retreat again.

Beautiful clean and comfortable home

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This home was an amazing experience. So relaxing and absolutely beautiful. The owners/rental company seem to have thought of everything. There was firewood available for us to use for the outdoor fire pit, food and instructions to feed the fish, an amazing water feature creating a river/waterfall between the ponds, clearly marked trails.., and a home full of beautiful art and artifacts. It felt very special to be in a home so meticulously designed and cared for. We could see so much of the owners’ personal touches, and still felt very comfortable- like it was really our home base for our stay. No need to publish this section, but Just a couple recommendations for you to consider for future- 1-if you truly want guests to not wear shoes in the home, would be great to inform of that in the early communications - to allow us to pack socks or indoor slippers/shoes with support, 2- early guest inform of the dumb waiter would be great too - we brought suitcases upstairs THEN read the binder that said to use the dumb waiter. We’d have happily used the dumb waiter if we had known, but I would bet several guests do what we did - just take suitcases up first and then read the binder later. 3- our vote for your next investment would be upgrade to twin mattresses in downstairs bedroom. They were ok but felt noticeably softer and more worn out than our home beds or the master bed in your home.

Amazing area, peaceful and majestic

Driving in to the driveway seems like you’re entering another world. The ponds, decks, hot tub, trails, and all of the details in the house are really nice. Everything was great, we will definitely stay again when we get a chance!

Amazing Home in the Redwoods

This property was an amazing place to rent. My family immensely enjoyed our stay. The trails, the outdoor lawn and patio area, the pond and the house itself was incredible. It is without a doubt that my family would love to vacation here again. Thank you Larry and Donna for having such an amazing home.

Private Redwood Park

We really enjoyed staying at this residence. The property has its own trails through the Redwoods. The property is also very neatly and beautifully landscaped. The house was full of interesting art and collections. An absolutely wonderful place to just "hang out"!

Perfect house!

This place was immaculate and every little amenity was thought of. Would love to definitely come back and stay again, this house was perfect for my family! There are beautiful trails and a hot tub that we all really enjoyed. The town is only 3 minutes away from the house but when your at the house you feel total seclusion. I can’t say enough good things about our stay there, look forward to coming back!

The pictures of this property don't do it justice. The house is really set up perfectly, and the property is literally situated within a redwood forest. It's stunning. The fishing town is adorable and breatkingly beautiful. For anyone wanting to see the northern California redwoods or just visit Trinidad, this place is truly spectacular.

June trip

We were in town for a memorial service and this property was the perfect place to decompress. We all loved the outdoor space and hiking trail. Even though the trail is short, you feel a world away from everything. The house itself was a comfortable place to be. The kitchen is well stocked and has plenty of space to cook in. There is a lot of space to spread out in. The whole place has a cool 80s vibe about it. Definitely would recommend.

Tucked away in the redwoods, the peace and quiet of the property, watching the sun set through the trees in the hot tub is such a fond memory. We will be back. We went hiking by day nearby, saw amazing wildlife and beauty and then returned to cook beautiful food in an amazing kitchen. Slept better than I had in years. I want to live here.

Redwood Bliss

Stunningly beautiful home tucked away amongst the redwoods that rival nearby parks. Quite, private, and a great place to connect with nature. The exterior and interior of the home are meticulously maintained and the decor is very elegant yet comfortable. The kitchen is well stocked and open to the living area. Whether you are inside or outside, there isn't a spot to be found at this property that isn't breathtaking! It is also minutes to Trinidad and the beautiful coast and not far from Mckinliville and Arcata. You have everything you need close by but you also don't need to and may not want to go anywhere because the house is so magnificent. It was an honor to stay here. We feel extremely fortunate and look forward to retuning!

Very Nice

We loved most everything. We really looked forward to enjoying some movies, but the living room TV, Blu Ray, etc. didn’t work. Someone came right over to help, which was great! But even he could only get the TV to work - kind of. The written directions left for us were outdated. It’s a great system! It just wasn’t working. We still thoroughly enjoyed our stay!
