"Megris country houses are located in Magganos, in the olive trees countryside few kilometers east of Pounta and Pavlopetri. The structure has a private parking and the rooms are fantastic, with a beautiful view of the sea across the olive trees. The very Greek hospitality of Gyorgia (with super Greek breakfast) and her nice husband will make unforgettable the staying. If you travel by car or motorcycle this is the best solution to visit this area of Lakonia. Be ready to feel nostalgia. "

Village has not much to offer (no shops, no restaurants). 25 minutes to beach and to Monemvasia, 10 minutes to nearest (very good) restaurant. Winds can get very strong, as we experienced. "The location, views, proximity to the beach were fantastic!Communication was hard and we arrived to a locked house, eventually found the keys.We stayed in April so it was a chilly and rainy, the only heat is the fireplace. We were comfortable making fires but not everyone might. It is a solar powered house with solar hot water so when the sun isn’t out the hot water was tepid.The location and views are worth the quirks!"

"This property is really special. It is spacious and beautiful and just has a certain quality about it. That makes you feel like a queen. The owner‘s mom lives down the hill and, although she doesn’t speak a lot of English, she was thorough in welcoming us and Showing us how to use the kitchen, etc. She had a crisper drawer full of fresh oranges and lemons and an electric orange juice maker. "We stayed here for 2 nights as part of a bicycle trip in the peloponnese. The location in old town was perfect - a bit busy during the day, but wonderful after about 5:00 p.m. The accomodation was excellent, but be aware that if you are trying to self-cater and use the kitchen facilities, there is no real grocery store in the old town, so you have to walk/drive the 1.5 km back to the new town (which has great facilities).
