“We stayed at Craigside in Room 21, which we have stayed in a number of times as regular guests. Unfortunately, this visit was disappointing. The hotel was extremely busy with a large group and we felt this had a noticeable impact on the level of service at breakfast. We came down around 9am, with breakfast served until 10am, yet when I asked for white bread for toast, I was told it was frozen and would take some time to defrost. There was also very little brown bread available and the juices……

“服務態度欠佳，對客人要求愛理不理。 早餐多士嚴重燒焦。 房間除床品交清潔之外，地氈骯髒，厠紙放在地上的廁所刷旁，沒有任何包裝 ，非常 嘔心 反感。房間門的鎖一推便輕易打開 ，根本沒有保安功能。我們的房間也是逃生出口，除了逃生出口的窗之外（逃生出口是連接地面的出口 任何人都可出入），根本冇窗， 因此整晚要開着這個唯一的窗睡覺 ，以致不能安睡。加上整晚亮著出口的綠燈，非常欠佳。”

“We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. It was our first time in Wales and the location was excellent. The room was modern, if a little small and without AC during the heatwave, which meant that even with the windows open, the room was very warm. The food was good both at breakfast and on the one evening we had a meal. The hotel have a strange rewards system where you can forego your room cleaning for a free drink, but the system is cumbersome and seems more hassle than it is worth.”
