“I wouldn’t recommend staying here. Hotel was ‘OK’ but didn’t feel like value for money. The breakfast layout was poor which meant that everyone was walking into you, it was extremely busy - sausages were cold, coffee not great. There were hairs in the bed upon arrival. Air con kept switching off in the night so we didn’t sleep well because it’d get hot in the night. There was a big panel of light switches in the room and it wasn’t obvious which switch was connected to which light bulb. The lift……

“Nice property, nice location, good helpful staff, lovely food in the restaurant, rooms were nice, spacious and modern. The staff on reception and in the restaurant were exceptional, we never really had any intervention with the other staff as we were a fly by night visit. I would highly recommend this beautiful resort.”

“The parking is excellent, the staff super friendly and helpful, breakfast was excellent, the only issue we had, probably because of our age was the television was Freely not Freeview; the controls were very difficult to understand, normal channels were not available due supposedly to poor signal, so everything had to be done via iplayer etc I know we’ll all have to get use to it but for us oldies it is difficult!”

“Room not cleaned. Returned late in the day from a funeral and bed was unmade, towels damp, tea and coffee not replaced. No cleaning whatsoever. Room was clean initially but property is old and dim due to lack of natural light. The Inn is a 'pub' and breakfast is served in the bar area. Claustrophobic and unpleasant. Misinformation by staff about breakfast meant we did not get a cooked breakfast on first day. Overpriced for the standard of service provided.”

“Really disappointing No little amenity set (cotton wool pads, etc) in the room, just a shower cap Nescafé coffee, no hot chocolate, no little extras that i would expect from a 4/5 star hotel.”
