“Room was very clean and staff very polite”

“Traveling with my cousin and his family. Their room had no hot water on first night and first morning after. Staff was unaware that first afternoon after if it had been fixed. They had to switch rooms, and got a smaller room that our reservation. We asked for some sort of compensation for this major inconvenience (just for my cousin, not for me), and hotel said they couldn’t comp us breakfast because we paid thru Expedia but they would be in touch. However it is 3 days later and no contact……

“It was good but not a five star experience. We were expecting a kitchenette and a balcony and we didn't get either, the air con in the room was not working, the beds were slightly too hard, I asked the housekeeping staff to come back later and they proceeded to sigh and close the door. Staff was friendly. The gym was okay. The pool”

“This place looked amazing in the photos, but when you get there, it’s honestly nothing like the pictures. There was a strong mold smell, especially in the bathroom not only in my room, but also in my friend’s room. The beds were comfortable to sleep in, and the staff was very kind and helpful, but my main complaint is definitely the smell in both the room and washroom. The floors also didn’t seem very clean; our socks turned completely black from walking around. Unfortunately, I had to leave……
