"We spent a wonderful week this March at Podere dell’Etna Segreta, and the experience was truly unforgettable. Even with a touch of winter still in the landscape, the beauty and tranquillity of the estate are felt the moment you pass through the gate and approach the main house. Each room has its own fireplace, with wood thoughtfully provided, adding warmth and charm to the peaceful setting. Above the estate, Etna in Bianco dominates the sky, while the view from the villa’s terrace offers a breathtaking panorama of the landscape below. What makes the place truly special is the care and passion of the Grasso family and their dedicated team, who make you feel more like a guest of the family than a visitor. The chef’s creations are exceptional, making every meal a memorable experience, with new dishes already being meticulously planned for the summer season. All of this gives us the perfect reason to return in summer—to see the podere in a completely different light: vineyards heavy with grapes awaiting the right moment for the vendemmia, olive trees full of fruit, and the joy of dining al fresco on the beautiful terrace whilst taking in the beautiful surroundings. "This is an oasis of quiet. An old farmhouse, beautifully appointed. They will make dinner and breakfast for you. There is a lovely restaurant-bar area. You can walk a little ways in the woods. There is a pool. It was a relief to spend two nights here away from the cities. The mt etna park is just 23km away. Perfect!"

"Great stay at this place. The rooms are modern, clean and well equipped. The pool area is nice for a small boutique resort, but the best part was the on site restaurant. Breakfast was amazing with cooked options and a very comprehensive continental selection (sweet and savoury). Please do yourself a favour and visit the restaurant at night as well and go for the five course menu, every dish was very tasty and the dish sizes are generous. Overall, would totally recommend "

"Grand old villa, with grand furniture. Close to Mt Etna cable car, very convenient. Our chef prepared fresh ravioli, and rissoto, plus delicious mains for our meal at night. Followed up with fresh prepared sicilian breakfast in the morning. We got lost due to google maps, and staff came to find us, which was appreciated. Room was comfy and huge, a very enjoyable night."

"If I could give La Cavenera Etnae more than 5* I would. We stayed here for one night for my 30th birthday and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. We did the Eruption wine tasting and Roberto was so knowledgeable and exciting to listen to. I had the fish menu and my partner the meat and both options were absolutely incredible. The facilities are beautiful, the pool and vineyard walks are so peaceful and relaxing. The room was super comfortable and clean. We will definitely come back!"
